Fairy tales are not a drama. They are suppose to make you and your friends awe in unison. They are suppose to leave you smiling, crying with happiness, leave you speechless or all of the above. They aren't suppose to be filled with nonsense called drama.
Okay, so you have a villain who tries to tear apart the princess and the prince from ever being together. Ever. But does it work? No. Happily Ever After is what happens in fairy tales. I wish my life was a tale of that sort. I would be so amused and know that everything will work out okay. But, my life sucks.
Seriously. I like this guy for about…I don't know? A MILLION YEARS! I'm exaggerating again. More like 3 or 4, but anyways. Then, your best friend hooks up with him. She told me, gushing over how she never saw anything in him before. And I am open about my crush. But I'm not even sure that it's a crush anymore.
I've never thought about love in my life. I mean, it's in all the fairy tales. But then I snap back into reality. Oh, my best friend is still talking about him. I wonder how long it will last… it's very disgusting actually. I'm going to guess 2, 3 weeks at the most. WAIT, what am I doing? I can't bet on my friend's relationship, if you can call it that.
Another thing popped into my mind. Jealousy. Am I green with envy? Is it because she is obviously so, so, so much pretty than me? (She is, but you won't comment on that.) Am I suppose to be supportive? Or am I suppose to be a bitch? I don't know anymore, this is angering me.
I realize something. I'll never get my Fairy Tale ending. Because she's in the way and he never notices me. I can bet your bottom dollar that they'll be together forever.
Just like how fairy tales are suppose to end.
