Hey readers! I was totally bored so I decided to try writing a one shot! Hah. If you like it maybe I'll write another one, so check it out and tell me what you think.
You Don't have to Call Me
Massie Block sighed as she sat down on her purple rug, pulling her warm black pug, Bean close to her.
"Guess what Bean," She whispered to the puppy, "he took her back again."
Massie sniffed and blinked furiously trying to stop her tears from travelling down her flawless cheeks. She looked into Bean's dark brown eyes, and saw her reflection, her hair was a mess, eyes red from crying, but still she looked amazing. Why doesn't Cam like her, Claire is too much of an LBR for him.
"I guess," Massie sniffed again, "I'm going to end up all alone."
- -
Massie walked down the halls of BOCD eyes still red from constant crying last night, and her head pounded from lack of sleep. I guess she had more than a little crush on Cam Fisher.
"Hey Massie," Claire greeted as they met up in the new Green Café, "I cannot wait to tell you guys about the sweetest text Cam sent me last class."
Massie fake smiled, just like Claire, to rub it in her face without realizing it.
"Awesome," she replied flatly.
Claire raised her eyebrows, "is there something wrong Mass?"
"No." She practically yelled at Claire.
Claire widened her eyes at Massie's rudeness, "I know something is wrong."
"Fine, Kuh-Laire! You're my problem you keep on pissing Cam of then begging for his forgiveness a week later. Maybe Cam likes someone else, cause I know for sure someone else likes him." Massie screeched and stormed away.
- -
Once again Massie heard her phone ringing, it was probably Alicia or Dylan or Kristen maybe even Claire trying to figure out what her huff was about today at lunch. She wasn't going to check. After all it rung millions of times already. Massie sighed. Why did she let her life come to this.
"Massie," Inez's voice came over the intercom, "someone is here for you."
Massie frowned, "tell them I'm not home."
"Can't they're already on their way up."
Just like that a soft knock was on Massie's bedroom door. She carefully opened it and peeked her head out.
Cam Fisher.
"What?" She sneered.
He pushed the door open, "let me in. We need to talk."
- -
"So Claire told you everything," Massie asked curiously.
Cam nodded, "she told me that you accused her of using me and that she should let me have a chance to try dating other people like you."
"Claire got that totally wrong." Massie sighed, "you and Claire were broken up for a month now and I sorta developed a little crush on you, I was planning on asking you out when Claire called and was squealing about how you finally took her back."
"Oh," Cam said calmly, "well I have to go to soccer, I'll call you later."
"No Cam," Massie held back her tears as she opened the door, "You don't have to call me. I get it."
- -
"Massie!" Inez's voice came over the intercom for the tenth time today, "you have a visitor!"
Massie was about to respond when a knock came on her door. Great. She opened it cautiously probably Claire coming to apologize.
"What," She gasped.
He blinked, "you weren't answering my phone calls so I uh came to see you."
"There was a reason for that."
"Listen Mass, I like you too, but what I was planning on telling you earlier that I'd have to wait a while before I asked you out because of Claire." Cam smiled shyly.
And just like that Massie pulled Cam into her bedroom and kissed him, she could feel his lips curling into a smiled.
"Now I see why Claire wanted you so bad," Massie smiled as she leaned into kiss him again.
So, like it. love it. could be better. hate it. Let me know. I really wanted to try writing a one-shot, so I hope it turned out nice. : )
