Pairings: Vague mentioning of SasuSaku, NaruSaku, NejiTen, and LeeTen.
Rating: G
Description: Tsunade thinks about the similarities between Team Gai and Team Kakashi.
Author's Note: This idea has been drifting in my mind forever and I just wanted to get it out there. Sorry it's so thin and quick paced.
Sitting at her desk, a half full bottle of sake loosely gripped in her hand, Tsunade found her self becoming bored. She had actually finished her paperwork a head of time for once and was now missing the rush of being forced to finish the work she would have neglected earlier.

Sitting in her silence, the only actual sound were the birds and the soft tap of her finger hitting on her hardwood desk, she frowned and took a swing of the alcohol in her hand.

The thing that had taken her out of her bored haze was the small knock that sounded from the door towards the front of her office.

"Come in," She called, taking one last swig before she placed it at the corner of her desk.

The large door swung open slowly and the first thing she saw was the shiny black hair. She smiled and instantly knew who the one visiting was.

"What can I do for you Lee?" She asked before he had made it into the room.

He smiled slightly and nodded, "Yes Hokage-sama, I would like to request a mission to do on my own." He said.

Tsunade blinked, looking taken aback. Naruto had asked her the same thing earlier that day. "Well sure," She said slowly, "But why so suddenly?"

Lee seemed to flush slightly and his eyes averted her gaze. "Well, you see Hokage-sama," He paused, twisting his hands together nervously, "I want to get some space."

She quirked a brow, but said nothing else, "Sure, come by tomorrow and we'll get a mission for you." She said.

He bowed quickly, said a polite thank you, and left the room.

Again sitting in her own silence, Tsunade went back to her contemplating.

With the visit just now with Lee, she felt a thought suddenly hit her. It was sort of ironic, as she continued to think about it.

Kakashi and Gai were eternal rivals, and their teams were almost exactly alike. Naruto and Sasuke were rivals and Lee and Neji were rivals.

But it came closer than just petty rivalries.

Lee and Naruto were both dropouts who proved they could be geniuses.

Neji and Sasuke were geniuses.

Tenten and Sakura were strong kunoichi who were often overshadowed by their male teammates.

She saw how Lee looked at Tenten sometimes, kind of like the way Naruto looked at Sakura.

But she also did see how Tenten looked at Neji, and how Sakura looked at Sasuke.

She gently traced a circle on her desk and hummed lightly. She huffed a sigh and downed the rest of her sake. She peered down at her desk and sighed again.

She was so bored!
