naruto is banished from the leaf after failing to bring back sasuke.
after leaving the village he comes across the uzumaki mask shrine and after being attacked by danzo's root ninjas, one of the mask falls on him transporting him to the otherside of the world to remnant.
due to the fox the transportation fused naruto and qrow (or back in time and changed his name) lives there for many years until the leaf village needs his help and tries to get him back. salem has set her sights on the elemental lands and the people of remnant is the only ones who can help.
