Alrighty peoples, this fic is a drabble/one-shot hybrid fic XD, and it's yaoi. So if ya don't like, keep your muzzle out of it :)

Nixe gave me the idea for this little fic, so you can just take your time and thank her in all her awesomeness, if you will XD

Again, *points to warning*. Not much more needs to be said, other than I don't own any one of these characters, because if I did, it would NOT be 4Kids ;)

He kept going, no matter how much he was battered and beaten.

Because there was a voice, calling...

He wondered.

He loved, yet he was a robot.

Perhaps he wasn't as emotionless as the Doctor thought him to be.

The one he loved...

"Oi, Metal! Up for another ass-kicking?"

Oh dear gods above how much he loved that silky blue fur his painted metal body could never compare to.

He wanted to feel, to have true senses...he wanted to see, to touch, to hear, to smell, to taste his love.

The Doctor thought he had created him without emotion.

But that's also what his grandfather thought over 50 years ago in the creation of the Ultimate Lifeform.

He kept going, There was a voice, calling him.

It kept driving him...somewhere...

Why was he so desperate to find it?

No matter how long he went the road he took just kept going and going...

Oh how much he wanted a living, breathing, real body, much like his biological doppelganger.

It was a good thing his metal body wouldn't freeze in this cold.

But his body was wearing down. He left the Doctor, followed him no more, and now he was lost and with no home.

If he were to shut down out here, no one would care. He wouldn't be missed.

He wouldn't miss.

Everyone would celebrate.

Including the blue hedgehog...

He fell face first into the snow, the power in his body beginning to diminish.

His sensors were dimmed, and all his spirit was lost.

He was nothing more than a broken machine.

He only wished he could find a way to be given a second chance, a second chance with a biological body and to befriend and love his enemy.

Every taunt, every attack, every battle against him killed him a little bit inside each time.

He hated hurting that beautiful body.

He stood again and began to walk, seeing nothing but endless white.

But that voice was driving him, and he wouldn't stop until he found it.

But he found a crevice several hours later inside a huge glacier.

He could end it all here.

Because no one would care.

Because no one ever loved him.

Sensors dimming at the thought, he prepared for the jump that would crush his body beyond any mechanic's repair.

But then, he heard the voice. The voice he loved, cherished, the voice that drove him so far, the voice that set his metal heart afire, a friendly voice, no longer intimidating and challenging, but caring...

Turning, he faced one he loved...

"Hey, Metal."
