Ash? I havent heard from him in years. And not exactly on close relationship terms, but practically grew up together with him. Ill look at it later.
"Hey girly" thats kina cute.
"Hey stranger. Whats up?" out of curiosity.
And throughout the day it went back and forth like this. Basic bullshit catch up after years of not talking. 23 now and havent really talked to him since high school. But our families are good friends and part of me is worried since hes hitting me up out of the blue.
Ash joined the military and doenst have much family left at this point.
Hours later of basic bullshit and Ash finally starts asking if i can come over and stay the night. Figures. I tell him no, im busy with work all weekend and cant make the trip. Then ash hits me with the truth bomb.
"My fiance broke up with me and instantly hooked up with some dudes and bragged about it to piss me off. and honestly last night was the closet ive tried to seriously commit suicide. i was just hoping you could come over and we could just hang out. we could drink, watch shows, play games and just bullshit. ill even pay for your gas and food. i just need someone to be around right now please?"
well shit how can i say no to a cry for help? with tears starting to swell i reply, "Ash i cant promise anything ok?"
