Forest Cabin empire outskirts
Sitting on the porch of a wooden cabin was a young girl with short black hair in a twintail style and black eyes. She wore a black sailor uniform and a red belt that has a red side skirt cover. From her legs down she wore long black socks and black shoes. This is Kurome; former Jager of the empire now turned defector. She sat in silence as the wind blew through the trees while she looked up at the sky lost in her thoughts.
"I hope your doing okay big sis akame."
Kurome then had a smile on her face as she knew that although her sister left to journey east she still held the time they spent together close with her.
She smiled as she was now living with the man who had saved her and promised to stay and love her.
However, something caught her attention as she saw a white light shining in the forest a very bright light at that.
Kurome got up from her spot and walked towards the bright light curious as to where it was coming from.
The young girl continued walking until she found the source of the bright light as it was a lantern.
It's shape and design was similar to that of an old fashioned lantern except it was colored pure white.
Kurome picked it up looking it over as her black eyes roamed over the white lantern with curiosity and awe in her black eyes as she picked it up as it was very light despite its appearence.
Holding the white lantern kurome held it tight as she walked back to the cabin with a smile at her new lantern.
As she continued to walk back towards the cabin with the lantern in her hands her smile grew even wider as she saw who had made it back home.
The person in question was a fairly muscular young man of above average height with short dark blue hair and eyes. He wore a blue leather jacket and a red scarf with an anchor on it and underneath that was a white shirt with a single blue line down the middle. He also wore a pair of grey jeans with a belt and dark blue boots.
"Wave!"
The former imperial sailor turned to see his lover walking towards the cabin carrying a white lantern to his confusion.
"Kurome where'd you get the lantern from?"
Kurome then looked at the lantern in her arms that her boyfriend was pointing at.
She then looked at the lantern then back at wave with a smile on her face which made wave blush at the cuteness.
"I found it in the woods. So I'm gonna use it as a lamp for my bedside."
Wave sweatdropped at her logic although it made sense.
However, before Kurome could enter her stomach growled as wave chuckled to himself.
"Hungry? I'll make us something."
Kurome then stared at him with her blank black deadpan eyes.
"Is it fish again?"
Wave offended by her questioning tone answered back.
"Yeah what if it is?"
Kurome then smiled again as a light blush tainted her cheeks.
"I don't mind if it is after all my stomach belongs to you remember."
Wave blushed at her comment but before the girl could take another step the white lantern started to glow bright white as the light engulfed Kurome to wave's concern and horror.
"Kurome!"
"Wave!"
Both of them reached out to grab the others hand but in an instant the white light vanished and they both disappeared not knowing that they were about to go on the adventure of a lifetime that gave new meaning to the phrase 'out of this world'.
A/N: this is my 1st attempt at an anime and cartoon crossover so I apologize that this chapter is so short. even so I'll try my hardest and if you have any questions pm me and don't forget to Fav and Follow. :)
