"Excuse me?" A meek voice whispered, pulling Caroline out of her reverie. She'd convinced Alaric to let her take the girls to the Mystic Grille once more before he ran off with them again and she wasn't looking forward to having to return them. And she certainly didn't want her final moments with her daughter's intro poured by a perfect stranger.

"Can I help you?" She asked, turning. She tried in vain to mask her frustration, but when she turned to see a rather scared teen-aged girl, her look turned to one of true concern.

"Please tell me you're Caroline Forbes."

"That depends. Who's asking?" She questioned, suddenly hyper aware of the fact that her daughters were listening intently to every word she and her new acquaintance were saying.

"My name is Davina. I'm a friend of Klaus Mikaelson. Kind of. Listen, I need your help." She pled, "I know you came to find help from Klaus a few months ago and I know you're worried about him. I can help you, but I need you to help me too."

With a deep sigh, Caroline turned to look at her daughters. Their plates had been nearly emptied. She begrudgingly slapped money down on the table then stood to leave, "I don't want any part in the Mikaelson drama. I'm sorry. I can't help you."

"There isn't any drama to be had; they're all dead." Davina called as Caroline stalked away, causing her to stop in her tracks.

"What do you mean they're all dead?"

"I mean they're all lying incapacitated in the back of a moving van." She insisted, "And now that Arcadius is gone..."

"Wait," Caroline snapped, trudging over to Davina and taking her wrist in her hold, "How do you know about Arcadius?"

"Because I was in hell." She whispered so as not to disturb the other restaurant patrons, "When your friends killed Arcadius there was a split second where I saw a place. I saw the woods and I went for it. I ended up here in Mystic Falls. I didn't know who I could trust, so I've been keeping to myself until I saw you, Caroline." She continued, "We've got to find them and wake them up and we've got to do it now."

"What makes you think that I will help you? Or that I even can?" She asked dragging Davina along to her car where she loaded Lizzie and Josie into their car seats.

"Because I don't know how, but I know you and he were important to each other. He painted you more times than any of us cared to count. I know you came to New Orleans looking for Klaus a few months back."

"Yeah, and they said nobody's seen or heard from him in three years!"

"Exactly! Look, I've been following you for several days, so I know that you and your friends are just as worried about Katherine as I am. I know there are Bennett witches in this town and I know that your friend, Lorenzo St. John, was murdered by your husband while he was linked to Arcadius. I have a proposition for you."

"Of course you do." Caroline grumbled, rolling her eyes, "What is it, then?"

"I'm pretty sure I know how we can get rid of hell, and Katherine Pierce, once and for all. Help me find cures for the Mikaelsons and I'll help you bring back Lorenzo before we destroy hell."

Caroline sighed deeply before throwing open the passenger side door, "Get in." She commanded.
