Killian's brows furrowed as he continued filing his hook. Shaking his head slightly, he thought back to the day's events. Mermaids, treacherous storms, and a fist to his face. Alas, it was only their first day in Neverland. Neverland. Indeed, he never would have imagined he'd step foot back here, but here he was.

Feeling satisfied with how sharp his hook became, he placed the small knife back on his waist and glanced around, listening for anything that may sound suspicious. He was taking first watch as they slept, assuring all of them they needed as much rest as they can get. Neverland is not a place for the weary.

The sound of footsteps close by caused Killian to draw out his knife. As Regina came into view, he pursed his lips and tucked his knife back in. "Shouldn't the dear queen be asleep?" he questioned as she approached.

Shaking her head, Regina crossed her arms. "There's no way I can sleep while my son is out there. It's about time for my shift to start anyway." she said.

Killian shrugged. "Suit yourself." he said, turning to head toward his tent.

"She'll never accept you." Regina said. Stopping in his tracks, Killian turned, confused.

"Who?"

Regina sighed. "Don't play games, Hook You know exactly who I'm talking about. Emma." Regina looked for a reaction. Killian said nothing, chewing the inside of his mouth, silent.

Regina approached him, stopping just in front of him. "The others may have been a little preoccupied to notice, but I did. I saw the look on your face when Emma took a breath. You stopped holding yours."

Hook smirked. "I have no idea what you're talking about, Queen."

Regina shook her head. "I think you do. You have feelings for her…and I'm not talking about the whole charming playboy personality you try to pull off. I mean real feelings. I never would have imagined it if I didn't see it for myself."

Killian continued staring, saying nothing. Regina chuckled. "It doesn't really matter anyway. She'll never accept you. They'll never accept you. So save yourself the trouble and don't waste your time."

Shaking his head, Killian spoke. "As much as I enjoy getting advice from you of all people, you're mistaken and frankly, I think you've gone a little mad. I don't have feelings for Emma. Now, if you'll excuse me. I think I'll be off to bed now."

Turning before she could say anything else, Killian passed Emma's sleeping form on his way to his tent. Taking a quick glance at her, he swallowed.

Yes, the Queen was absolutely mad.
