Aizawa Shota paced outside his wife's room impatiently. He looked down at the laminate flooring then up at the plastered ceiling.
Click!
That was the sound he'd been waiting for. A nurse dressed in issued blue scrubs leaned through the door with a small smile, "Mr Aizawa, She's waiting." suddenly all of Shota's impatience morphed to anxiety.
What if something went wrong!?
He took a breath, 'Quit being illogical.' he told himself as he walked through the oaken doorway. laying peacefully on the hospital bed was his best friend. His wife. His finest gem.
Alice Aizawa.
Lucious long blond hair. Perfect emerald eyes. All her looks were wrapped up in a beautiful personality.
To him she was a gift from the gods.
Even if she was quirkless she was just as strong. They may not have been the perfect couple but that suited them fine.
Never one to let fear sink in Shota took a step forward. Then another. before he knew it he was staring down at three adorable babies.
The furthest to the left Cotton candy coloured hair and Crosshair eyes that let Shota know she had a quirk.
She kept looking around and laughing at the various contraptions around the room.
He looked at the next child. Who had messy purple hair that jutted out at odd angles. The largest of the children was sleeping and Shota was unable to tell the boy's eye colour.
Next was a child who seemed to inherit his own paranoia and looked to be the very definition of anxiety.
She had the same emerald eyes as Alice and matching hair that seemed to flow around her. Her eyes were wide with curiosity and fear.
Miraculously none of them were ceying.
"Shota?" He looked up at his wife who was smiling weakly.
"Hey beautiful..." He trailed off with tears of joy.
"Hi Sweetie" She replied even weaker than before, "take good care of our children, won't you?"
Shota's face turned from joy to despair as the words registered in his mind, "NONONON STAY WITH ME ALICE! ALICE!? ALICE!"
As the doctors rushed around and fiddled with the various machines Shota was escorted out as well as his three children.
All of which were now crying.
Hours later...
"I'm sorry sir but we did all we could" the nurse beside him comforted.
Aizawa stared at the courtroom doors as the judge took away thelast pieces of his wife.
Before anyone could blink Shota had left a sizeable dent in the wall before storming out. That was the last friends and family from Alice's side heard from Shota.
This may not be long but this is only a prologue.
Sincerely
Death's Prophet.
