A/N A short OS. I hope you guys like it : )

The house was filled by the unrestrained laughter of the two men living in it. It is so late at night, and probably everyone in their neighbourhood is already asleep, But these two..*sigh*

"Okay. Fine, fine! Mai ab aur kuch nahi kahunga." Daya spoke in between muffled laughs after being hit by a pillow. Abhijeet was also laughing uncontrollably. He threw one more pillow at Daya while he spoke as, "Tu na bilkul besharam hai. Bichare DCP sir.." And he started laughing again.

"Toh mai aur kya karta? Vo ACP sir ke baremein kuch bhi kahe aur mai chup chap sunta rahu? Yeh bhi bhala kabhi ho sakta hai?"

Abhijeet shook his head after seeing a mischievous smile on Daya's face. His own face wasn't leaving the smile present on his lips, how the hell could he expect that from Daya then? But then his eyes fell on the wall clock present in the hall and his big brother mode immediately kicked in. "Bhaisahab ek baj kar dus minute ho rahe hai. Sona nahi hai kya aapko?"

Daya glanced at the clock and frowned. "Boss, vaise bhi din bhar kaam hi karte rehte hai. Raat ko hi time milta hai hume aise baithkar baate karne keliye. Kuch aur der baithte hai na."

Abhijeet scowled and got up from his place. "Tu kal fir uthne mein der karega."

Daya clutched his wrist and pulled him down, making him sit back on his place. "Nahi karunga yaar, tu tension mat le. Baith na. Mujhe tujhse baate karni hai."

And how could Abhijeet deny to this tone of his loving brother? So he sat there with him. Daya was cracking some jokes, sharing the things happened today with him when they both weren't together, and the events which took place in past which he was longing to tell Abhijeet but couldn't due to lack of time. Abhijeet was listening to everything and giving genuine reactions to all of his stories. Once again they were laughing uncontrollably. Abhijeet had already held his stomach while Daya was lying haphazardly on the couch.

"Oh yaar. How I love being with you! Without any fear of judgement. There is no need for me to be prudent when I am with you."

Abhijeet smiled. "Daya, hum dost hai."

Daya raised his eyebrows and shrugged with a smile."Toh?"

And Abhijeet could have easily answered to that 'toh' but the realisation of what his pal was telling him didn't allow him to do so. A genuine smile lit up his face and a security was confined in his heart. The night loners yesterday, were night lovers today. They've been together in this whole journey. They trust each other with their everything. How could judgement by any possibilities would have been a problem between them? It isn't possible. And their smiles are the proof that they are aware of it.
