Bad Wolf Oneshot

The TARDIS whirred as it hurtled through time and space violently, all of the golden time energy flowing into Rose. All of time and space was running through her head, all that ever had happened, all that was happening, and all that would and could ever happen. All this, and she could only think one thing. I want you safe, my Doctor.

The TARDIS whirred, materializing on Satellite Five. The doors opened, silhouetting Rose in a powerful golden light, energy snaking outwards around her body.

"Rose, what have you done?!" The Doctor shouted, worried.

"I looked into the TARDIS, and the TARDIS looked into me." she replied, strangely calm.

"You looked into the Time Vortex, Rose, no one is meant to see that!"

"Exterminate." The Dalek's monotonous voice rang out across the room, a shot following, but Rose easily deflected it with her hand.

"I am the Bad Wolf."

"Rosie, hey sweetheart, can you say mummy?" Jackie held the hands of her two year old daughter. "Can you say it?" Rose giggled at her mother, then suddenly became silent before saying her first words.

"Ba' Wol'!"

"What?" Jackie remarked, confused. "Bad Wolf?" She brushed it off as the baby laughing, babbling nonsense. "Say Rose? Can you say it?"

"I create myself"

"Grrrrr! I'm gonna get you!' Rose ran around the park happily, chasing her friend Mickey. She snuck up behind him. "Boo!" Rose jumped on his back, pinning him to the ground.

"Hey, no fair! I wasn't looking!" Mickey said.

"You're just a being a baby, Mickey." Rose retorted.

"No I'm not! I'm two whole years older than you! I'm seven and you're only five! And why do I always have to be Red Riding Hood?" He crossed his arms, sticking his lower lip out and pouting.

"Because I'm the Bad Wolf, Mickey." she replied to him, like it was the most obvious thing in the world."

"I take the words. I scatter them in time and space."

Rose was coloring with crayons at her desk. Her teacher walked over and looked at Rose's drawing.

"Rose, what does that mean?"

"I-I don't know. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be bad."

"No, Rose, you're fine." Her teacher took the paper Rose was coloring on. It had golden yellow swirls all over it, with a wolf-looking creature in the middle with glowing gold eyes. She flipped the paper over and saw two words written on the back in seven-year old handwriting."

"A message to lead myself here."

She was walking home New Year's Day January 2005. Some drunk bloke had stopped her on the street, asked her what day it was. It was New Years Day, who didn't know that? He didn't seem creepy at all though. She felt strangely compelled to stay and talk to him. She brushed it off as just the excitement from the party. She stopped short when she saw the graffiti on a brick wall on the side of her apartment building. "Bad Wolf? Why would anyone graffiti that?"

Everything made sense now.
