A\N: THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU READD!: Teddy is probably ten-ish, and therefore Vic is probably....eight? If this is the wrong age difference, Jus' let me know! I only tell you this because it will probably make how they act a little more sense-ical. Dedicated to my Spoonie Moonie (Don't whack off my baby!!), for beta'ing and generally being a sweetheart....

This is the best season, Teddy told himself. Every cell of his body agreed as snowflakes fell on his upturned face. He was peaceful here, the world was peaceful, and anything was better than being back in the chaotic Burrow. He hated chaos. He hated the bustle, hum, rattle, and roll that were his 'family'.

All too suddenly, someone was out there with him. He didn't have to look down from the flurrying sky to know it was Victiore. A quiet calmness seemed to follow her around, and this effectively made him calmer around her.

"Molly told me to come and get you" he was about to scold her for calling Grandma Weasley Molly, but something stopped him. "She says you'd like to know that she's got chestnuts in the oven…you don't like chestnuts, do you?" when he didn't answer, just kept looking up at the sky, she continued "Jack Frost is having a busy day, yeah?"

He smiled, remembering the song he had made up that made her crazy "Jack Frost roasting on an open fiiireee, chestnuts biting at your nooosee!"

She glared, but didn't comment. Instead she asked "What are you looking at?"

He realized he had looked back up towards the clouds, and resumed eye contact "Snow. It's very nice. Pretty, even"

She looked up with him, a slight smile on her face "It's fun to spin, you know" she said, demonstrating with a twirl, her mouth hanging haggardly open. On anyone else, it would be embarrassing.

He snorted "What's your mouth hanging open for?"

She looked slightly insulted, before looking worried "You've never caught snowflakes on your tongue? Surely Uncle Harry.... even If Andromeda can't..."

He laughed again (he did that a lot around her) "I have, Vic, just...don't you think it's a bit... childish?"

She spun again "Of course it is! No-one has to see!" The mocking tone in her voice made him groan as she pulled him into a spin with her.

Hmm...I'd forgotten how nice this was... He thought before scolding himself, don't be such an idiot!

"Why are we spinning again?" he asked

She looked exasperated "We're not spinning, we're following the wind! It's easier to catch them this way... We're like sunflowers."

"But with snow. Snow-flowers" he smiled

Vic giggled "Snow-flowers, Shmow-flowers!" and spun again.

And, surprisingly, Teddy found himself spinning with her.
