Authors Note
Hi, I'm a big Merlin fan so I decided to write a fanfiction story on something I've been thinking about. This is set between the first and beginning of the second season. Unfortunately I have no rights to Merlin, only the story line and of course, Jasmin, are completely mine! So, I hope you like it.
The Girl who stirred up CamelotMerlin walked out of Arthurs chambers, silently complaining to himself. All day he had been working hard for Gaius and Arthur, and not one thank you had been given. But really, he was used to that, today was just worse because of the work he had to do. For one, Gaius's leech tank hand to be cleaned again, but even worse was helping Arthur train for the upcoming knight competition.
At that second Merlin felt one of his many bruises ache. He slowed to a halt, groaning. He dropped his small, brown messenger bag and tried to rub a hard to reach bruise on his back. He jumped, feeling a soft, cold hand on his back. Slowly he turned around, wondering who the hand belonged to.
His eyes widened as he was face to face with a light brown haired girl. She smiled at him saying "Need some help there?" "Who are you?" He asked accusingly. She tilted her head slightly, her deep hazel eyes boring into him as she said, "I'll answer your question after you answer mine." He sighed and said "No, I don't need any help."
She laughed and said "You do. But, I'll answer your question now. I'm Lady Jasmin, but just call me Jasmin or Jas." His eyes grew wide again. "You're the Lady Jasmin." He asked, surprised. "Yes." She said lightly with a blush then continued "And I need to speak with Arthur, think you can direct me to his chambers?"
Merlin laughed "Oh, the pra-" He stopped himself from saying 'Prat', knowing it could really get him in trouble. Now she laughed and said "Yes, the prat." She gave him a wink and asked "Well, can you." He blinked and started explaining "Yes, he's right down that hall, take a left…" She cut him off saying "Why don't you just take me there?"
He looked surprised for a second, then blushed, then slowly nodded, picking up his bag. Before he started to take her to Arthur, he looked her over. Her light brown hair with a few blonde streaks was in a braid that went down her back. Her hazel eyes gleamed as she smiled, showing two rows of almost perfect white teeth. Her skin was tanned slightly, and she was actually pretty short. Her body was curvy but it fit her.
He blushed seeing that she knew he was looking her over. "Let's go." He said and turned around, wanting to do this and go as fast as he could. Jasmin waited a while before passing him up, leading the way to Arthur's room. "Hey! I though you didn't know the way?" Merlin asked, clearly surprised. She laughed, saying "No, I do. I just wanted you to come along." Merlin rolled his eyes and opened the door to Arthur's room…
