Tam's POV

I can't believe she was able to save my sister. Nobody has ever been able to clam her down like that... except for me. Who does she think she is!?! She better not go on getting a big head over this. Just because she saved Linh and broke the record doesn't mean she's all that special.

Forty-six minutes. I could only go thirty before I had to come up.

I may not like her but, I sure do respect her abilities. So many things have happened that make her to be a constant on my mind. And today, she has proven just how reliable she is. I have to meet this girl. And although I may not be her biggest fan, I must thank her for helping Linh. Which is the reason we brought her here. Sure, there were other reasons but... I just really need to look in the eyes of the one that out shined me as a brother.

"Where are we?" The girl asks

Her voice has a soothing yet determined ring to it. It's fascinating how one word from her can cause me to question my position.

"Introductions first," I said, throwing back my hood and motioning to Linh to do the same.

Don't think I didn't notice the way this girl went quiet and observed our similarities. She better not cause any problems.

"You're brother and sister."

Duh.

"Twins. Is that going to be a problem?"

Her face scrunches in confusion.

"Why would it . . . ," a wave of understanding hits her then. "Of course not. I know what it's like to be different."

She removes her hood to reveal the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen. And her eyes. They're brown, I've never seen anything like them. Her hair is a silky blonde, and her smile, although it was forced, was amazing. She's the most unique person I have ever seen.

Linh taps my shoulder, bringing me out of my thoughts. I look to her and then introduce myself, then Linh.

"I'm Tam, and this is Linh."

She smiled. A real one this time. I've never felt this way before.

"I'm Sophie."

Wait.

"That's a human name."

She nods her head and laughs the tiniest bit.

"It is."

She's obviously thinking about something. I already love her. The way her brows come together when she's confused. The way her whole face lights up when she smiles. And her obvious humility, despite her many abilities.

She's looking around. But her eyes quickly meet mine.

"So where are we?"

"Home sweet home."

This sure is going to be interesting.
