Is the series called Itachi? Do they have nonstop epic moments of the Akatsuki? No? Than I sadly don't own.
Death is terrifying because it is so ordinary. It happens all the time.

The sultry summer air was heavy in the clearing. Madara, grimy from sweat and his pupil's blood lay lazily against a tree, gazing through the world with half lidded eyes. He stopped at Itachi, who was slowly picking himself of the prickly grass, dusting his pants off as he stood up. Their training session had been particularly brutal today, and it would take more than a little coaxing to get his student's stiff legs to move. Madara smirked as he came closer.
"Heh… you look like shit, kid." Itachi slowly eased himself into a sitting position in front of him. "At least you managed to block some of my attacks. But you should have seen the expression on your face when I hit you the fourth time – I thought your head would spin 'round.
"Give me some water." Itachi fished around his pack before throwing the small steel canteen at him. Madara caught it and gracelessly started chugging it down. Any other student would have broken after going through his training regiment, Madara thought, but not this brat. His small shoulders were hunched, and he was gazing at the setting sun with half glazed eyes.
"Sensei, did you know the sun will die?"
Madara stopped half way from taking another swig of the lukewarm water.
"What did you say?"
Itachi's eyes were still fixed on the sinking sun.
"The sun will die one day, sensei."
Madara gazed at the sun and then back at his student.
"Don't fuck with me, kid. The sun can't die. It's always been there; our ancestors who lived hundreds of fucking years before us have written about it. It's been here forever - what the hell makes you think it will disappear one day?"
His stupid pupil, who was now laying flat on his back, using his bony arms to cradle the back of his neck, shook his head.
"In the academy, we had a brief lesson in astronomy and Daikoko-sensei explained to us how the sun is slowly dying. Every moment it shines, a bit of its life fades. Eventually, the sun will just be a dim light in space, with not even enough energy to lighten Earth's sky at dawn." Itachi shifted his head, so that now he was looking fully at Madara. "I didn't believe it at first. I went to the library and searched through all their texts, and they all said the same thing. It makes sense if you think about it," he inhaled deeply. "What can honestly live forever?"
Madara's grip tightened around the canteen as his gaze met the large red orb hanging perilously at Earth's edge. He threw the flask next to Itachi, who's exhaustion was slowly carrying him to sleep. He lay down on the warm ground, his skin sticky against his clothes and shut his eyes, drifting into a muggy rest.
The sun – a half lidded eye on the horizon, dipped under the skyline.
Madara turned in his sleep.
Yeah, I got the idea from Where the Wild Things Are...
As a note: Madara doesn't know much about scholarly subjects because he came from a ninja background. He also lived in a time where science was more like mythology... so astronomy and stuff like that wouldn't make much sense to him...
