Ianto and Jack sat on Ianto's couch and were watching a movie, Ianto sat with his head on Jack's had his arm draped around Ianto's waist and kissed him every once and while as they sat and watched the Cole Porter bio Delovely. Jack spoke " I met Cole and Linda. in fact I went on a few dates with him before they got married. But we never slept together. He took me for a carrage ride through Central park.
And we kissed and did cuddle but nothing came from it."
But then Linda come along. He once told me When he met her she was the only woman he ever loved. That he was hooked. He did love her and you could tell. Linda did spoil Cole. Cole did talk about her to me all the time over bourbon at the Club. Ianto looked at Jack "What were they like?" Jack looked at him " Well Cole was a great guy. a great dancer and lryicist and a nice kisser, not as great as you, mind but still nice. Linda was a classy lady . In their own way they did love each other.
Even when they separated. You could tell he missed her." Jack gently kissed Ianto. " I became part of the theatre company they created, He gave me the lead in the production of The Gay divorcee. Tell you something the song Cole gave me to sing was a fucking pain in the ass, and I complained about it all the time. But with Cole's help I did manage to get the song learnt." Ianto looked at him . "Did you attend the wedding." Jack nodded "Yeah and what a posh affair that was, Linda made a beautiful bride . I actualy sang at it," Jack went on, " I actually got to hold one of those lighters she gave him every opening night. And he did look great in a suit. not as good as you but you look better out of one,"
Ianto chuckled at this, " Nice save there you.' He gently kissed Jack.
Jack smiled sadly "I remember her funeral, Cole looked so forlorn and lost without her,"
Ianto gently kissed his cheek "I wish I could have been there, I would have loved to have met also see you preform,"
Jack looked at him "I wish that too, You would have fit in great,And I would have showed you off at the local "Gentlemen's" NightClub. and Cole would have loved you, And Linda would have found you charming and very Dashing" Jack kissed him " and would have had to fight the two of them and told him to stay away from my man." Ianto looked at him, " So I am your "Man," huh?" Jack winked'
" you are more then that Ianto, you are my handsome boyfriend." Ianto put his hands on Jack's chest " ohhh nice save there mister." Ianto grinned as he took off his shirt and put his hands under Jack's shirt,and started to sing " i hear that weevils do it even the great Doctor does it. Lets Do it lets fall in love." Jack grinned as he pulled Ianto to him " I thought we had you know what they say " Ianto laughed as Jack sang "Any thing goes."
