note: this is my take on what happened after All Hell Breaks Loose.
FALLEN
Red. Blood trailed down her chin and out of the corner of her mouth. Red. It snaked out of her ears; the blood and brain fluid. How ironic could things be? The strongest of the Charmed Ones is lying on the cold hard floor; around her, a pool of blood has formed. "Prue?" Came the soft whimpering sound of Piper's voice. "Prue, come on, wake up." her voice cracking as she tried unsuccessfully fighting back tears. "Prue, please, get up." she said with a chocked sob. "Prue!" Piper broke down, crying hysterically as she held onto the lifeless body of her protector, her fellow witch, her friend, her mother, her confidant, but most importantly, her older sister. Piper remained in the same position by the time the police and the paramedics arrived. The medics tried to take away the limp form of the fallen sister but the hold of the sobbing sister was firm as she refused to give Prue up. Piper is still in denial, after all, how can her invincible sister be dead? It's just not possible. She was confused right now. Her world has just turned upside down. Nothing makes sense anymore. It was too much for her to bear. Piper's mind has just shut down as she cried for hours, unaware of her surrounding environment. Piper opened her eyes groggily and the whole chaos sank in. She saw that her fallen sister was no longer in her arms and that she was lying on her bed. Prue! Where was she? Piper's mind panicked and she stumbled out the door, crashing into Phoebe. "Phoebe! Oh god, Phoebs, I." Piper broke down again, as she hugged Phoebe tightly. "It's alright Piper. It's okay." Phoebe said gently, trying to comfort herself and Piper. She too felt the pain of loosing her oldest sister, and since her mom died when she was very young, Prue had always been the motherly figure in Phoebe's life. "Prue, where's Prue?" Piper asked quietly. "Piper. well. um, after you fell asleep, the medics took her away." Phoebe whispered into Piper's ear. "What?!? Prue! NO!" Piper screamed as she bolted out the door. "Piper!" Phoebe cried, as she raced out after her now oldest sister. Piper stared at the lifeless body of her beautiful sister. She waited for those blue eyes to appear and tell her that everything would be alright. "Things will be okay Piper. Please, you have to be able to move on. Prue's body may not be with us, but her soul will always be in our hearts. Please Piper, I've already lost a sister, I don't want to lose another." Phoebe said softly. Piper turned around and held her baby sister close as she cried. She knew what her sister had said was true, but she just can't live the rest of her life without Prue. "Come on Piper, let's go home." Phoebe said as she gently pried Piper's fingers off the casket as she supported Piper to the jeep. Both girls felt a light, gentle breeze as the wind blew softly in their hair. It felt just like Prue's comforting hand running down Piper's long silky hair whenever she was sad. Phoebe smiled sadly. Phoebe knows that recovering from this trauma will take many years, but then again, it may be too hard on Piper. She simply hoped for the best as she and Piper drove home. 'Prue, I promise you that I'll protect Phoebe.' Piper thought as the gently rocking feeling of the calm ride rocked her to sleep. Prue's body may have fallen, but her soul lives on.
