I stared into his deep blue eyes,fulll of mystery."See",I told him,"we're just friends..that's all."
In my heart I knew I wanted to be more than that.
After a few minutes of staring,he questioned me,"Are...you sure?"
"I..I don't know",I pondered.
I leaned in to kiss him,sonething I had been longing to do.
As we leaned in the space between our lips was no more.My only world was him. He was the only thing I could concetrate on...
He pulled away.
"Lily",he started his lips quivering,"I-i love you. I've known you for about a year and I realize that there is no one I'd rather be with."
"Wow",I started out of shock,"I do too. I just thought we had agreed that the kiss should have never of happened. So I-i started ignoring my feelings for you and I just...."my voice trailed.
"You what?",he asked inquestiviely
"I couldn't hide them any longer",I ended softly.
"Well, I guess so",he said and smiled while he said it.
We leaned in at the same time to kiss,our third,passionate it was.
"How...do you think......",his voice trailed.
"Ray",I finished for him,"will feel about it? I honestly do not know."
"Well....if he doesn't take it well",he started,"he's not worth our friendship."
Abandon the one guy I had known all my life? I think not.
"Travis,I can't do that to him",I said softly.
"Your right,Ray is too nice of a guy",he responded.
"And with all of that out of the way",he started his excitement rising,"Will you go out with me?"
"Well..........",I started flashing back to all of the times we had our moments,then the times Ray and I had.
"I...sure",I answered happily.
And with that,I pulled him into a hug,for being a good friend,for being everything,for being my Travis
