In a world of Eos, Noctis is presumably riding in the back seat of the Regalia when he is engulfed in white light, finding himself transported to a city that looked like Insomnia.
Noctis: Where the hell am I? It kinda looks like the Crown City. Ignis? Huh? *sigh* Look like Gladio's doing it again.
Noctis then pulls out his phone and calls his friends but no one answered.
Noctis: Huh? That's strange...
he soon then encounters a monster that looks like one of the daemons.
Noctis: A daemon!?
It soon attacks him, he summons a Engine Blade, but he is saved by a girl who has an ear of a fox.
Xiaomu: Are you okay?
Noctis pulls back from her.
Xiaomu: Wait!
Noctis: Are you real?
Xiaomu jokingly asked.
Xiaomu: What does it look like?
Noctis mistaken her for a monster, then she said.
Xiaomu: Hmm. I'm sure you'll figure it out, and you kinda look a lot like Reiji!
Noctis: I gotta be dreaming...
Xiaomu: Nope, you're wide awake to me! A first timer in Shibuya!
Noctis: So then, you're from around here?
Xiaomu: Of course I am! However, others are investigating what's going on in all the worlds.
Noctis: There's others?
Reiji then swoops in and slices another monster.
Xiaomu: Like Reiji!
Reiji: What are you doing, Xiaomu? And he's...
Noctis: Hey there.
Reiji: Good deal, A new ally for Shinra.
Noctis: A new ally? Wait. Hold on!
Xiaomu: Something strange is going on.
Reiji: We're investigating what's going on in the dimensional rift.
Xiaomu: You don't mean Ouma!?
Reiji: No. It's something else.
Noctis: Investigating what rift?
Reiji: We'll explain it on the way.
Xiaomu: And you're coming with us, whether you like it or not!
