Boy Number 1: She was eleven years old and he was twelve. It was wet and short, and Lily decided that she would never kiss a boy again if it was like that.

Boy Number 2 was Jack McKenzie, and he was better. She was thirteen and he was fourteen, and Lily decided that kissing wasn't as bad as she thought. In fact, it was sort of nice. And then she caught him kissing with skanky Alexis Grove, who had large boobs and very pretty blond hair. Lily decided that from then on, she would only kiss boys she was sure about.

Boy Number 3 came after much consideration. His name was Nick Harris and was a fourth year Hufflepuff with a really cute bum. He asked her out on a date to Hogsmeade and brought her flowers and everything. They dated for a whole three months.

Boy Number 4 was in the Christmas break of her fifth year. He was a muggle, seventeen years old and laughed really loudly. His name was Shane Werring and he tried to feel up her skirt.

Boy Number 5 was also in fifth year. Potter had just started liking her, and got very jealous when she started going out with Alistair Ranger. He was a seventh year and captain of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. That year, Ravenclaw lost the Quidditch Cup to Gryffindor courtesy of a timely goal by none other than James Potter. That was also the game that Alistair got his nose broken by a badly aimed quaffle. They broke up after that.

Boy Number 6 was the first time she ever got drunk. She kissed Remus, who promptly got as far away from her as possible in case James or Sirius saw. She had broken down into tears at why he had run away from her, and had to be consoled by Marlene McKinnon.

Boy Number 7 was her first steady, long term boyfriend. He was in sixth year, the same as her, and they dated for most of that year and the start of the seventh. Brad Carron had dark hair and blue eyes and was a really good kisser. In fact, he was the first boy Lily ever went further than kissing and upper body fondling with.

Boy Number 8 was in seventh year, four months after she broke up with Brad. It turned out to be the last boy she would ever kiss – the boy turned out to be the man she would marry. James Potter, that year, acted like a normal, non-obsessed person. He stopped asking her out, embarrassing her and pranking her at every opportunity and was... normal. And when he finally did ask her out on a date, she surprised them both by saying yes.
