Hi everyone!
I still seem to have quite a few short TW fics which I haven't posted yet, so I thought I might as well just post them here.
This one's just a little bit of J/G fluff.
xoxoxo
Gwen had been out of the Hub all day. Jack had sent her out with Toshiko, who had done everything in her power to prevent Gwen from returning. They had been out shopping, went to see a movie, and had even went to a beauty parlour. Gwen hadn't thought of Toshiko to be the kind of person to go to a beauty parlour, but they had had their nails and hair done, and Toshiko had even wanted to go for a massage. By the time Gwen was finally allowed back into the Hub, she was eager for a cup of tea and her bed. She dumped her shopping bags at her workstation, making a mental note to tidy them away later on. She was about to head through to the R&R area when she felt an arm around her waist, and a cover was placed over her eyes. She smiled as small kisses were placed down her neck, and she was led away from her workstation. She smiled as Jack's hand kept a firm grip on her waist, and she smiled more at the smell of him. 51st Century pheromones. Her eyes remained covered as Jack peeled off her jeans and blouse, tossing them to one side, replacing them with a dress. He still didn't remove the cover over her eyes as he placed a necklace around her neck and led her into the dining room before removing the cover. She blinked, her eyes adjusting to the light, before looking down at what she was wearing. Jack had dressed her in a red dress which flirted with her knees. It was quite low cut and accentuated her curves. Glancing in the mirror, she caught sight of a diamond necklace glistening on her neck. Jack had dressed himself up, and was wearing his best suit, the one he had worn for their wedding. Gwen couldn't help but smile at the sight of him. Pulling her close to him, he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her deeply, with the same passion that he had always kissed her. She kissed him back, her body melting perfectly into his, for the moment both of them lost in the other. Jack was the first to break the kiss, and he led Gwen into her chair at the dining table. He sat opposite, and they ate a dinner Jack had cooked himself; Gwen's favourite, Sunday Roast. After the meal, they cuddled up on the sofa.
"I can't believe it's been a year," Jack kissed each of her fingers in turn.
"I know," Gwen smiled. "I've put up with you for a full year!"
Gwen laughed, before kissing Jack as she caught sight of his sad face.
"I'm joking."
Jack grinned, pulling her to him.
"I love you so much," he whispered.
"Mmm I love you too."
"I'm never going to leave you…I promise."
"I know."
Jack kissed her deeply, picking her up and carrying her through to their bedroom. He made love to her all night long, celebrating what they had achieved and what they had to look forward to in the future.
