Lightning erupts across the sky followed by a shattering boom as rain pours down, pattering against a dark castle. All of this was nothing to the one who lives inside. Dracul, Prince of Darkness, ruler of the barren keep, strides through the empty halls of his castle, awaiting the arrival of "Gods Redeemer", the one who is going to "stop" him. He smirks and shakes his head at the foolish thought. Yawning, he walks over to his throne and takes a sip from his Chalice, staining his upper-lip red for a split second. Suddenly, a booming thud is heard from the door to his Throne Room. He sits up and smiles, his red cloak billowing behind him. The door opens up with a loud crash and a man wearing stark white armor, emblazoned with the Holy Cross on it runs in, drawing his blade and shouting, "For the glory of-!", but he was cut off by the sight of Dracula, twirling his sword around, his fangs glinting in the light. "Aah! Gods Redeemer! Come to slay me have you? Do it then!" The Paladin runs to Dracula and swings his sword. The ensuing battle was a short one. The two traded blows for a short time, but Dracula lost his patience and disarmed the Paladin, cutting him down right where he stood. "Some redeemer you were."He spat. Suddenly, pain shot through his back and he fell to his knees, gasping, his vision becoming blurred. He looks up to see another man, wearing identical armor, but with a cape trailing behind him circling him and glaring in disgust. "I am the true Redeemer, foul Demon! My companion was a ruse, and I mourn for his death, but you are the one who will not be missed!" The man then kicked Dracula to the ground and left, picking up his companion as he went, his cape billowing behind him. "Curse... you!" He moaned. Then all Dracula could see was pure black empty shadow, clouding his mind and sending him into the open arms of an eternal sleep. Little was it known that this was NOT the end of him.
