The Los Santos portrayed in this fic will be a combination of both San Andreas's and GTA V's and things will start off crazy.
Episode one: Introduction
-Yakuza office, Shinjuku ward, Tokyo, Japan-
It's a bustling night in the Shinjuku ward in Tokyo, Japan and it is about 8 PM at night and we see the various citizens of the largest city in the world walking about. Some heading home from work while some appeared to be uniformed high school kids spending the Friday evening with their friends. The view switches to the interior of the building and we see two men sitting at a desk under a single light chatting about something. Several other men standing all around them as if they were their body guards.
''Ken Morimitsu? Shit, he is and always will be my most loyal and deadliest hitman. Never throughout my years as a Yakuza gangster I thought that someone as loyal and deadly for a guy so young at sixteen to join my gang and carry out the most beneficial task for the Otomo-Gumi. '' Said one of the older men at the table. This was Takeshi Otomo who was the boss of the most powerful Yakuza group in all of Japan, the Otomo-Gumi crime family. It had been ten years since Otomo sent this Ken to assassinate a rival gang leader but it ultimately ended up being a massacre that involved the entire rival gang as well as law enforcement. Simply put, Ken killed every member of the rival gang including it's boss as well as dozens of police officers before being apprehended and locked for ten years. He was spared life sentence thanks to his connections to the Otomo family who also had connections with the law to an extent.
''You're telling me. It's been about ten years now so he should be getting out of prison soon since we pulled a couple strings for him am I right?'' Another member said, earning a nod from Takeshi.
''Yeah. However, being the most powerful Yakuza gang we've been a huge target from the other groups for a while now and since Ken has the reputation after that massacre he did if he comes back to us, the other gangs will do whatever they can to take him out which means they would also target us to try and get to him. Not to mention it will be bad for our businesses throughout Japan.'' Otomo said, a bit nervous about his man's return.
''So what are you gonna do then?'' Asked the other gangster.
Otomo closes his eyes and smiles the type of smile that showed off his cockiness. ''Didn't we have a sub group based in Los Santos? What happened to them we haven't gotten word since we sent some of our guys there to try and establish our presence there Tetsuro.''
''Honestly, I don't know. What are you thinking of doing? You're not planning on sending our Ken there are you?'' Tetsuro questioned out of curiosity.
Otomo closes his eyes for a second before opening them once more. It was only an assumption but it was the most reasonable answer he could think of at the moment. ''I got it, isn't Los Santos a haven for street gangs and organized crime?''
''Yeah, I've read on Wikipedia that there are many streets gangs in that city as well as other mafia like groups, namely the Mexican cartels, the Italians, Chinese in nearby San Fierro, and Russians as well as a big biker gang...you don't think our men we sent there were killed by these groups do you?'' Tetsuro asked, realizing that what might have become of their men.
Otomo snapped his fingers and nodded. ''That's exactly what I'm thinking, I'm going to go off a hunch here and say that the Italians control a majority of the criminal vices in that city and I bet when they got wind of a Yakuza group forming in their city they wiped them all out to maintain their dominance in the Los Santos underworld.''
Tetsuro raised his eyebrows but it wasn't from Otomo's hunch, it was from his boss's reaction. ''Wait, you don't seem to be pissed off that the Italians may have wiped our guys out Otomo, why's that?''
''It's real simple Tetsuro and yes, I am very angry about this possibility I'm sure Ken would love to handle this problem as his own man. He's been so reliant on us before he went to jail, well here's what I'm thinking of doing when we go pick him up. We send him to Los Santos he'll meet with his brother.''
''His brother? Oh yeah, I think I remember Ken talking about him before he went to prison. What was his name again I don't recall.'' Tetsuro questioned.
''Do you remember his brother Shigeru? Their parents had a divorce and they couldn't come to an agreement on who would get custody of them so they agreed to have one child each. Soon after Ken's brother and his mother moved to the United States and have been living there ever since.'' Explained Otomo.
Tetsuro nodded in understanding. ''Oh yeah, now I remember, Shigeru Morimitsu. What has he been doing in America ever since moving there with their mother?''
''I don't know, I managed to get his number off his Facebook and called him up. Told him I am Ken's boss who wants to send his brother to have some time off to go relax with Shigeru. I didn't tell him my intentions, all it is to Shigeru is that he thinks I am sending my best employee to relax and have fun with his brother.''
Tetsuro raised his eyebrows, sighed and shrugged his shoulders. ''So let me get this straight Otomo, you're planning on sending Ken to Los Santos to basically see what's going on with our men there and see if they're alright. Is that correct?''
''Partially, another reason is to keep Ken safe from our enemies here and if they find out he's free they'll all try to kill us to get to him as well as to protect our rep with our businesses. Lastly, if our sub group in Los Santos is gone I want Ken to reestablish them and become their boss and take over the Los Santos underworld. Even with the competition from the Mexicans, Russians, Italians, and possibly the Chinese I know Ken won't be scared of them. Remember, that guy is a psychotic killer that's why the other Yakuza gangs want him dead, because they're afraid of him.''
Tetsuro nodded. ''So how are we going to go about this?''
''We pick Ken up from prison and give him a passport. Give him a welcome back talk before sending him on his way. We'll let him handle the situation in Los Santos before going down there to see how he's doing and form an alliance with his gang making us even stronger.''
Nodding in understanding Tetsuro and Otomo continued to converse until the view turns completely black.
Location: Los Santos International Airport
Time: 9:20 PM
After being picked up by his boss from Japan's largest prison Otomo had sent his most lethal and loyal hitman to the United States. Specifically the city of Los Santos, California we see a Japan airlines plane pull up to the jetty and out of the plane walks out various Japanese tourists enter the flight terminal. One person was noticeable from the crowd of tourists as he was wearing a black suit with a gray tie. He wore black trousers and had on black dress shoes. He was about six feet in height and had shades on and his hair was a medium length and it was jet black.
This man, was Ken Morimitsu, otherwise known as the ''Butcher of Shibuya'' among his gang and enemies. He takes out a piece of paper that had an address written on it that was given to him by his boss Otomo.
''So, my brother works a good job in America huh? Well, hope he's happy to see his brother again.'' The Japanese gangster thought with a grin. He takes his suitcase and makes his way out of the airport and notices another arrival. He looks towards the entrance to another flight that had just arrived from Italy and notices many tourists exiting into the terminal but soon enough he saw a tall man dressed in similar clothes to his, shades included and he narrowed his eyes at the man as he could tell who he was by the vibe he was giving off and the way he was dressed.
The tall Italian man looks around and spots Ken staring him down. He lowers his shades and gives the Japanese mobster a look of interested before nodding and smiling at Ken who does not return the kind gestures. The mystery man is then approached by several men who appeared to be waiting for him. Both men were dressed in suits as well.
''Boss, did you enjoy your vacation to the old country?'' One of the men asked.
Turning his gaze away from Ken the man looks at the younger man and nods. ''Yeah, of course I did Joey. Come on, we have to head back to the estate I've been dying to get back to business.''
''You got it boss, it's good to have you back.'' The other younger male said with a smile and they escort this Johnny out of the airport while Ken simply watches them leave the airport and into a car, a Ford Crown Victoria and watches as the car leaves the airport altogether. Just as the Italians leave another car pulls up, specifically a red 2010 Honda accord pull up on the airport driveway and once it comes to a stop a Japanese man who looked similar to Ken exits the car. Ken took note of his choice of clothing and saw his sibling wearing a sweater, a snapback with the logo for the Los Santos Saints and his pants were slightly baggy and he wore clean white Nike shoes. He thought nothing more of it as he assumed that was his brother's casual clothing.
Ken instantly recognized the other man and gets up and dragging his suitcase along he exits the main building of the airport and walks onto the sidewalk to greet his long lost brother and the now revealed Shigeru instantly recognized Ken.
''Oh my god, Ken!''
''Hey brother, how are you?''
The two brothers speed walk towards each other and embrace in a hug between two long lost loved ones and rubbed each other's back affectionately before breaking the embrace.
''It's been so long! I've tried searching for you on Facebook but I guess it's not really popular in Japan isn't it?'' Shigeru asked.
Ken shook his head in response. ''It's not, but, I've heard that my boss at work Otomo found you and phoned you about me coming over?''
''Yeah, he said that you've been a very good employee to him so he decided to give you a month off and relax with me here in America. That's really neat because I don't really have friends here.'' Said Shigeru with a hearty laugh. ''So anyway, welcome to the United States of America! Land of the free!''
''Glad to be here, now let's head out of here I want to take a peek at your place brother.'' Ken said and Shigeru motions for him to hop into the passenger's seat.
''Oh boy, you're really going to like it it's a nice small place in a quiet neighborhood.'' Shigeru began but his voice would slowly become inaudible as Ken stares out the window marveling the City of Saints.
''My name is Ken Morimitsu and I am from Tokyo, Japan. I grew up with parents who's marriage did not simply work out so in the end they agreed to a divorce which was okay with them but they continued to butt heads with each other on who would have custody of me and my brother Shigeru. Eventually they agreed to have one son each and after the papers were signed my mother took Shigeru and moved to Los Santos with him. I never understood why because I wasn't able to be a bigger brother to him like I always wanted to. My dad though, he looked at Shigeru like a piece of dirt for leaving with my mother but it wasn't his fault. But enough sob stories for now, another thing you should know about me is that my father died in a car crash when I was only fourteen years old and I had no surviving relatives to move in with and as a result of the landlord evicting my teenage self I was founded on the streets by members of the Otomo-Gumi crime family which is the largest Yakuza organization in Japan. The members of the gang that took me in treated me like a little brother and Otomo-san..he was a better father figure since my real dad was an alcoholic. Eventually I ended up joining them, a decision I don't regret one bit...''
Location: Verdant Bluffs
Time: 9:45 PM
After driving through Los Santos the two brothers had finally arrived at Shigeru's house and when Shigeru pulls up on the side of the street he brings the car to a halt.
''Well, we're here at my place brother so let's go inside!" The younger male declared joyfully.
Looking out the window Ken looked at the brick building and while the building itself looked clean and well kept he smelt some weird scent that he was unfamiliar with but he thought nothing of it as Shigeru popped the trunk open for him to get his suitcase. Exiting out of the vehicle the gangster makes his way over to the back of the car to get his suitcase. After taking the bag out of the trunk he closes it and Shigeru smiles at his brother.
''Okay, let's head into my place. Follow me.''
Shigeru walks into the apartment building but Ken only walked onto the sidewalk before looking around the street and saw various people. Most notably African-American males who were wearing green clothing and some bandannas appeared to be smoking a cigarette that appeared to be just a rolled up piece of paper. Thinking nothing more of it the Yakuza hitman walks into the apartment building where his brother was waiting for him.
''Everything alright brother?'' Shigeru asked.
''Yeah, everything is fine I was just taking in my new surroundings is all. Come on let's get into your place.'' Ken answered.
The two men make their way up the stairs to the second floor and walk down the hallway for a moment before walking up to an apartment labeled B12.
Shigeru takes his key and unlocks the apartment door and lets Ken walk into his home first before he followed a second later.
''So yeah, make yourself at home brother, I didn't have time to shower all day as I was out working so just go ahead and relax while I go take one okay? You can make something in the fridge.'' Said the younger sibling.
''Take your time, I got plenty of it.''
Ken set his suitcase by the couch in the living room before making his way into the kitchen. He was totally famished after that damn nine hour flight from Tokyo to here so he thought he can make himself some American dish as a means of trying something new. He walks over to the fridge and saw pictures of Shigeru with his mother and he recognized the pictures were taken not in Japan, but at the Los Santos airport shortly after their arrival and the Yakuza gangster frowned. He hadn't seen his mother in years and here he was now in Shigeru's home and she was nowhere to be seen. Their father died in a car crash shortly after the family separated and Ken was basically left to fend for himself. He lived off the streets before members of the Otomo-Gumi family offered a helping hand.
He takes the picture off of the fridge door and smiles tenderly looking at his mother's beautiful face for a few minutes before putting the picture back in it's rightful place. He looks around the kitchen some more and saw that his brother wasn't much of a clean person as there were some dishes with day old cereal in them as well as half eaten bags of chips and used cups and plates in the sink.
''Damn Shigeru, mom would kill you if she saw you living like this.'' Thought the older sibling.
Shrugging it off the Yakuza gangster goes to make himself a sandwich and drink some Sprunk he found in the fridge. Another twenty minutes would pass before Shigeru completed his shower and he came out wearing the same type of clothing. A big sweater, baggy pants, and sports shoes as well as those ugly snapback hats.
Ken shook his head in disapproval at his brother's clothes to which the latter took notice off.
''Why are you shaking your head Ken?'' Shigeru asked.
''I swear Shigeru, you dress way too American. I mean, look at those pants! You're like a sumo wrestler with those!'' The older sibling laughing lightly.
Shigeru rolled his eyes before taking a seat beside his brother.
''So, what have you been up to since we got separated cause of okasan and odosan? You work in a business with a man named Otomo right?'' Questioned the younger sibling as he takes an open box of Cock O' Puffs and eats it with his hands.
''Yeah, he owns a conglomerate in Shinjuku ward and the most successful business ever in Japan's history. We focus on golf courses, fundraisers, housing, and building schools. Sometimes we perform disaster relief should it be necessary.'' Ken explained earning an understanding nod from his sibling.
''Ah, I see, you must make a lot of money then!'' The younger sibling exclaimed patting his brother on the back.
Ken smirked. ''Yeah, I do actually. I also get paid to..deal with other people. So what is it that you do for work ototo?''
Shigeru's big grin would slowly, very slowly dissipate. Boy he didn't want to tell his brother what he has resorted to after losing his job as a supermarket employee.
''Oh um, I'm a salesman. I go door to door selling medicine to the needy.'' Shigeru said in a nervous voice.
Ken raised an eyebrow when her heard the shaky and nervous tone in his brother's voice. He knew something was up but he didn't want to say anything right now. ''Is that so? How much do you make weekly?''
Shigeru fidgeted in his seat a little but regained his composure. ''You see, it really depends on how much of a product someones orders. Sometimes I make a thousand a week, sometimes I make nothing at all. It all depends really..''
Not wanting to see his brother more nervous than he already was Ken decided to drop the issue.
''That sounds like a good job, I'm glad you're doing something at least and not mooching off okasan. Speaking of okasan where is she?'' Ken asked looking around.
If there was one thing Ken really wanted to know, it was where the hell his and Shigeru's mother was. Shigeru had a picture of her on the fridge but the younger sibling did not mention her at all and that was making him suspicious.
Shigeru began to slowly tear up and giving one big, drawn out sigh, answered his brother's question.
''You see, she...she's dead.''
At that moment, Ken swallowed his spit and despite being a feared gangster in Japan he too tried to fight back his tears.
''How..?''
Shigeru turned and looked at his brother. ''She..she was shot and killed.''
Ken continued to stare at his brother in disbelief. His mother was a very kind and warm-hearted woman from what he could remember when he spent time with her and to know she was shot to death was a shock even to him. Seeing his brother stare at the table Shigeru placed a hand on Ken's shoulder.
''It wasn't intentional, she just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. So there's no one to blame.'' The younger sibling said.
Ken only shook his head. ''I should've fucking known, while on the flight here I borrowed someone's laptop and looked up information on this city. Los Santos is the most dangerous city in America, has the highest murder rate, and the largest crime rate. Why pick this shitty town?''
''Hey, she chose to settle here because it was relatively cheap to rent a place out. Don't worry nothing much as happened since she died. I've been trying to work hard to sustain myself and it's not the best thing I've decided on doing but it works for me. I know that dad passed away too so all I can say is that we both have each other still.'' Said Shigeru.
''Yeah..you're right. It's just a shock to me you know.'' Ken said shaking his head.
Then the watch Shigeru was wearing began to ring rhythmically and the younger sibling looked at it and saw the time.
''Shit, I gotta go Ken, my landlord usually meets me in the parking lot a couple blocks away so I'll be back to give him my rent money okay? Feel free to make yourself at home this won't take long.''
Shigeru then got up and ran out the door leaving his brother behind in the quiet apartment. Ken decided to disregard his brother's words and gets up and leaves the apartment before heading out of the building altogether. Locking the door behind him he heads down the staircase and heads out the main door. Looking around he did not see his brother at all but since he was good at finding people he turned to his right and proceeded to walk down the sidewalk.
Ken walked down the sidewalk past several bystanders for about ten minutes before he turned a corner and bumped into someone. The sound of a bottle shattering on the sidewalk, the pieces of the malt liquor bottle all now instead of being in one piece, now covered the entire sidewalk, it's precious alcoholic contents slowly spreading across the ground.
''Aw shit, the hell watch where you walkin' nigga.'' An African male said angrily.
His clothing consisted of an oversize green sweater, green cap with jeans and white sneakers said to Ken. The African man slowly steps up to the Yakuza gangster trying to appear intimidating to the Japanese man.
''Motherfucker that shit is expensive around here the fuck you think you doin' walking into me?'' The African man then brandishes a pistol, specifically a Colt M1911A1 and points it at Ken who remained unfazed. ''Even see a gun before nigga? You fuckin' with Grove Street!"
Ken simply stared at the man in amusement before he reaches down and picks up a shard of glass from the bottle and slices the man across his right eye with it making him drop his Colt in the process.
''Ugh, the fuck nigga!" The man cried out in pain as he covered his bleeding eye with both hands.
Ken then forms his hand into a fist and quickly delivers a swift, powerful punch to the man's gut making him double over in pain. He then kicks the man over and watches as he squirms in pain. The Yakuza hitman sneers at the man's suffering before catching sight of the African man's Colt on the asphalt. He bends over and scoops it up and releases the magazine to see if it was really loaded. It was.
He then pulls the slide back and sees a round already in the chamber and taking the magazine he inserts it back into the weapon before putting on safe. Walking over to the downed thug be lifts up his shirt and finds extra magazines in his back pocket.
''I think I'll take this, thank you very much.'' Ken thought with a smirk.
Taking what he wanted from the man Ken then continues to walk down the street after his brother to see what he was up to leaving the beaten thug on the ground groaning in pain from both his bleeding wound and Ken's powerful punch.
''There's no way your landlord would meet you in some parking lot Shigeru, I know something is up so what the fuck is really going on?''
-East Beach-
Shigeru made his way into an unused parking lot where a small group of men arrived. They all appeared to be Hispanic, specifically Mexican and had beanies on while some appeared to be ready to fight. Shigeru approached the group and swallowed hard before the man leading the pack, dressed in a purple suit walked up to him. His hair was gelled and neatly combed backwards and he had a mustache.
Shigeru reaches into his pocket and takes his wallet out and pulls out a large sum of money. Seeing the pay the suited Mexican man takes it and begins to count the cash.
''Here, this week's tribute Jose.'' Shigeru said, his voice a bit shaky.
The Mexican man finishes counting the money and after finishing the task he raises his eyebrows and looks at the Japanese man with a look of confusion. ''The fuck is this?'' He asks with a heavy accent.
''You said I had to make $1500 this week and pay you the cash right? Exactly 1500 dollars.'' Shigeru said in defense.
The Mexican man feigned innocence. ''Oh, forget to tell you the Capos changed the weekly tribute to three grand.''
Shigeru's eyes narrowed in annoyance. ''Wait, what the hell Jose we agreed that when I sell drugs for your cartel I had to make only $1500 and now the Capos change it at the last minute to $3000?!''
Jose merely shrugged while the other three men accompanying him laughed at Shigeru's predicament. Although it wasn't the man's fault they still thought it was funny how the Capos only did this to Shigeru's tribute to double the usual price.
''That's the new price Shigeru, take it or leave it not my problem you chose to sell drugs for the Los Levya cartel.'' Jose said. The tone in his voice showed he obviously did not feel bad for the Japanese man.
Shigeru raised his hands up in defense. ''Well what the fuck was I suppose to do then to make the extra 1500?! I sold all the drugs the cartel gave me for this week!''
Jose only shrugged again. ''Figure that shit out dumbass. Better hurry and make it within the next hour or we'll fucking kill you.''
Growling in anger, Shigeru acted without thinking and threw a punch at Jose hitting him square in the jaw and the cartel Lieutenant was caught completely by surprise. The blow sends the man staggering sideways and after he regained his footing he turned and looked at Shigeru in sheer anger.
''The fuck you hit me for cabrone?! You know what, teach him boys, teach him all the fucking way.'' The Lieutenant spat in anger.
The three sicarios cracked their knuckles and quickly circled Shigeru who bravely stood his ground ready to fight them off but one of the sicarios grabbed him from behind and threw him to the ground and together they all begin to savagely beat Shigeru by stomping on him and punching him while he was down. Each stomp and punch making the young man cry in pain as the sounds of both his cries and the punching and kicking filled the air.
Jose only shook his head as he watched his men beat the man as he brandishes a Beretta M9A1 and a knife ready to execute Shigeru for hitting a cartel Lieutenant.
''I tried to be lenient and straight with you Shigeru but you had to act up so you're going to get what you get.'' The cartel Lieutenant said and before he can call his men off to cease their beating of the Japanese man he heard footsteps behind him.
Looking over his shoulder Jose had no time to react as a fist connected with his nose breaking it and sending him falling to the ground in pain. Hearing the sounds of their Lieutenant the sicarios turn and see Ken standing tall over Jose.
''Hey who the fuck are you cabrone?'' One of the sicarios asked.
Ken only responded by picking up Jose's Beretta and taking the Colt he acquired from the gangster from earlier he shoots the three cartel sicarios dead. The sound of the guns going off echoing throughout the quiet parking lot as well as the bodies of the sicarios landing on the ground with a thud.
The loud blasts prompted Shigeru to cover his ears and after hearing the gunshots have ceased Shigeru uncovers his ears and looks around him to see the bleeding corpses of the sicarios, multiple bullet holes in them. He then looks up to see Ken walking over to him and the scent of gunpowder filled his nose as his older sibling roughly picks him up. By the look on Ken's face Shigeru knew that he wasn't happy.
Before Shigeru could even say anything Ken shoves his brother forcefully that let the younger sibling know that he wanted him to start walking home. Sensing the tension coming from his brother Shigeru decided to just walk home and wait for his brother to arrive. As he continued walking the sounds of a gun cocking was heard followed by a single gunshot that made Shigeru jump in surprise. Turning around he looks to Ken who was standing over Jose, the barrel to his Colt smoking. Shigeru realized that Ken had singlehandedly kill four members of the Los Levya Cartel. He had a bad feeling about this and he just continued staring at his brother before spitting on Jose's corpse and he began to make his way towards Shigeru.
Ken simply walked passed his brother and after a few seconds of silence Shigeru took off after Ken, a nervous feeling taking over his body as he knew his brother being silent wasn't a good thing.
-Shigeru's apartment-
After walking back to Shigeru's apartment building Ken did not wait for his younger brother to unlock the door and instead the older sibling basically kicked the door open and dragged Shigeru in there. After tossing his brother into his apartment Ken locks the door. While this was all happening the two brothers did not notice a single man sitting at the kitchen table who appeared to be waiting for them to come back. It was the same gangbanger that Ken had beaten earlier only this time he placed a gauze over his eye after what Ken did. Hearing the commotion the gangbanger looked up and saw Shigeru being thrown into the apartment and when he saw Ken he widened his eyes but did not say anything.
Seeing what his brother was doing Shigeru only stared at his brother nervously. He knew Ken saw the whole exchange and how he basically lied about meeting his landlord to pay his rent. Not only that, Ken now knew that he was a drug dealer for the most powerful Mexican cartel in Los Santos, the Los Levya cartel.
Ken slowly walked up to his brother while shaking his head as if disapproving of something. Ken then places a hand on his brother's shoulder and before Shigeru could assess the situation Ken delivered an upward knee strike into Shigeru's gut knocking the wind out of him and sending him doubling over in pain while gasping for air.
''Agh! What the hell Ken!'' Shigeru said through clenched teeth as he slowly gets up from the blow.
Ken just shakes his head before noticing that they weren't alone. Looking over into the kitchen he spotted that same gangbanger he roughed up earlier and the second the Yakuza gangster set his eyes on him the gangbanger froze.
''Relax, I think you learned your lesson.'' Ken said with a smile before making his way to the table and poured himself a cup of Sprunk as if nothing happened.
The gangbanger was on edge as Ken sat directly across from him and despite what the Yakuza hitman did to him not an hour ago he slowly turned his head as to look at Shigeru who was now standing on his two feet.
''Geru, the fuck is going on homie?" The gangbanger asked, still confused about the whole situation.
Shigeru rubbed his jaw and held onto his stomach which was still hurting from Ken's knee before giving the other man his answer. ''Hey CJ, well...before I say anything...''
Shigeru was unable to finish when Ken spoke up.
''I just found out my brother Shigeru here is a low life drug dealer working for some Mexican cartel. I found him giving his 'tribute' to this Jose guy and I shot him and his thugs. Plain and simple I shot the shit out of them.'' Ken answered with an emotionless face.
The gangbanger, who we now know as CJ looked at Ken with a look of amazement. For a while now his gang and Shigeru were forced to be drug dealers and pay tribute to the Los Levya and here he just heard that Ken, the same guy who roughed him up, the same guy he tried to mess with on the sidewalk fucked up Jose and several of the Los Levya's sicarios.
''Oh shit, you fuckin lyin! That's tight!" CJ exclaimed trying to give Ken a bro fist but the Yakuza hitman just looked at him like he was an idiot. ''Okay then..and also, is that the reason why you hit on your bro? Because he's a drug dealer or what?''
''No shit, this guy told me he had a good job selling medicine door to door, looks like that medicine was just weed and coke.'' Ken spat condescendingly to his brother.
Shigeru only looked down in shame for having lied to his older brother.
CJ noticed this and called out to his homie. ''Hey Geru man, what's up with the long face? I mean he just said you're his brother so care to introduce us?''
Opening his mouth to speak Shigeru couldn't find any words to get out of his mouth until Ken motioned for him to try to get words out.
''Well? Say something.'' Ken said waving his hand in a circular motion.
''CJ, this is Ken, my older brother. We were separated after our parents got that divorce. He's the one I talked to you and Sweet about.''
CJ looked at Ken. ''Oh snap, nice to meet you dog. I'm CJ, Carl Johnson from Grove Street Families.'' He said holding his hand out for Ken to shake. Hell, CJ didn't care now since he learned that Ken had basically helped Shigeru out of the situation he was in. ''Sorry about earlier on the sidewalk homie, my bad.''
Ken tilted his head and smiled at CJ. ''Wasn't your fault CJ, I was only defending myself. I'm Ken Morimitsu, Otomo-Gumi.''
''Nah dog, that was just me being the idiot I am.'' Insisted CJ.
Shigeru widened his eyes when he heard what his brother said. Did he hear that right? Otomo-Gumi crime family? He watched as the two of them continued to shake hands before interrupting them.
''Ken?''
Hearing his name the older sibling looked at his brother.
''What is it?''
''Did you say..Otomo-Gumi?''
Ken simply nodded.
Now it was CJ's turn to ask questions. ''What is Otomo-Gumi homie? Care to tell me?''
Shigeru only sighed before continuing. ''Yeah..the Otomo-Gumi crime family is the largest, deadliest, and most powerful Yakuza gang in Japan..and Ken just said he was a part of it..''
''Yakuza? The fuck is Yakuza?'' CJ asked.
''Yakuza is the Japanese mafia.'' Ken said plainly making CJ sport a look of shock.
''What the fuck! I just tried to pick a fight with some Asian mafia member? I must be the biggest fucking idiot in the world!" CJ thought in panic.
Ken only scoffed at CJ's reaction and knew exactly what he was thinking. ''You scared? In my clan I'm known as the Butcher of Shibuya.''
Shigeru swallowed hard. He had seen on the news that there was a massive gun battle between two Yakuza clans in the Shibuya district of Tokyo and that one particular young man had massacred the entire Kyosei-kai gang as well as dozens of police officers . Following the massive battle over three-hundred Yakuza members as well as at least thirty police officers were shot dead. Shigeru now realized who the identity of the butcher was and he was his own flesh and blood.
''K-Ken..you're the But-butcher of Shibuya..?'' Shigeru questioned with a shaky voice.
Ken slowly raised his head to look his brother in the eyes.
''That's right ototo, and the real reason I'm here is because Otomo is actually my boss in our gang. When I was locked up he sent some of our men here to establish a group for the Otomo-Gumi so we can expand into the United States but he told me that he believes that they are all dead from either the Italian mafia, the Russian mafia, or even the Chinese and bikers. You hear anything about this..huh?''
Shigeru stuttered for a moment while CJ looked at Ken like he could provide some useful info. Noticing the two men Ken let out a hearty laugh.
''Okay relax Shigeru, you don't have to tell me anything you know right now as I can see the shock of learning the identity of the Butcher of the Shibuya being your own older brother. So get some rest and we'll start fresh in the morning alright?''
He said before getting up and stretching. ''I'll just crash on the couch. Nice meeting you CJ.'' Ken then extended his arm to offer a friendly hand shake with the gangbanger.
CJ smiled and reached his arm out as well and the two shake. ''Ay, no problem homie, my bad for trippin on you outside the liquor store.''
''You had every right to.'' Ken replied.
CJ then left the house leaving the two brothers alone in the kitchen. An awkward silence befalls the two siblings before Shigeru spoke up.
''K-Ken, thank you, for helping me with those assholes, and sorry in advanced I don't have an extra room, you'll have to crash on the couch.'' Shigeru said gratefully.
Although he knew there would be trouble now after what Ken did to Jose and his sicarios he was still happy Ken came to his rescue.
The older sibling only nodded his head very slowly while eyeing his brother and after a few tense seconds Shigeru wished his brother good night and left to go into his room leaving Ken alone in the kitchen. The Yakuza hitman sat at the kitchen table for a few hours and even though it was approximately one in the morning Ken wasn't feeling a bit tired at all. He just sat there staring into space as if he was thinking about something. He sat there for a few more minutes before deciding to go for a walk to get some fresh air and to survey the city.
''I could definitely learn the layout of this town for when I reestablish that sub group here.''
He gets up and exits his brother's apartment and then the building altogether before making his way out onto the sidewalk and noticed that there were only a few bystanders walking the late night.
''Must be a bunch of hopeless druggies.'' Ken thought before he began to walk to his left.
He walks past an alleyway when suddenly three men armed with weapons, one had a Beretta, another had an Uzi submachine gun, and the last had an M4 Carbine and they slowly approach Ken with their weapons pointed at him prompting the Japanese gangster to stop in his tracks.
''Are you the Asian mafia fuck that killed Jose and his guys? Nice job not hiding the bodies pendejo.'' One of the armed men said coldly in a heavy Mexican accent.
''You have a death wish huh? Picking a fight with the Los Levya cartel I thought you were all killed.'' Another said.
The ringleader, the one armed with the M4 walked up to Ken and moved behind him and gave him a light shove.
''Move your ass cause we're going for a little ride.'' He spat condescendingly.
Ken had no emotion in his eyes and just did what he was told and walked with three guns pointed at him towards a car parked in the alleway. The sicario armed with the Beretta opened the door letting his comrade armed with the Uzi enter first before forcing Ken inside, Beretta still pointed at him. The ringleader then enters the driver's seat and starts the car and soon they begin to drive off into the east side of Los Santos...
-Los Flores District, East Los Santos-
After being kidnapped by more sicarios from the Los Levya cartel we now see Ken sitting in the back seat of a Greenwood driving down an empty street held at gunpoint by two of the sicarios while the ringleader was driving the vehicle. Ken just sat there with a blank look on his face as if he was staring into space and the only thing he truly felt was the cold steel of the gun barrel held against his face from one of the cartel sicarios.
The sicario holding his pistol against Ken's cheek only grinned at the impending doom and torture the Japanese man would go through once they delivered him to their own Capo.
''Ese, you better be ready because what our Capo will do to you will make your guys shiver in fear. You Asian mafia pendejos think you can just fuck with the Los Lev..''
Before the sicario can finish his sentence Ken quickly moved his hand upward and shoved the sicario's hand away from him and instead of pointing his pistol at Ken's face the sicario was now pointing his gun at the driver of the car and in a split second the sicario squeezes the trigger on reflex and fires off a shot hitting his comrade in the head blowing his brains out and staining the wind shield with blood and brain matter while also shattering from the bullet breaking through it. His corpse slumping forward onto the steering wheel causing the car's horn to go off endlessly.
The sicario was caught completely off guard and before he can point his gun back at Ken the Yakuza hitman had already used the pistol he concealed in his tuxedo top and fired off a few rounds through his top into the Mexican thug's chest killing him. His body slouches over dead and Ken quickly uses his free hand and grabs the last remaining Mexican and shoves his head through the window shattering it completely. Ken then maneuvers his hidden Colt and aims at the sicario's head and fires off one round killing him with the bullet blowing clean through his skull.
The view then switches to an overhead perspective as we see the car Ken was forced into continue to move forward despite the sicario that was driving being killed and soon the car crashes into a fire hydrant before plowing into the side of a store and coming to a stop. The sounds of the water flying out of the hydrant and the car's relentless and loud horn filled the night air as the water from the hydrant sprays down upon the Greenwood like a torrential rain storm...
Well, I sure hope you guys liked this little introduction to my newest story. I have three Naruto stories and frankly I felt like I should expand and reach a larger and more diverse audience and another game series I truly am familiar with is the GTA series of course so I thought I can make a fic out of it and for an extra touch I'll combine it with Sons of Anarchy as it is a show I have become a bit indulged in. I hope you enjoyed this first chapter as it gives you guys a peek of what to expect from Grand Theft Auto: Retribution. As always don't forget to fave, follow, and review! Oh, any and all flames will be laughed at. ;)
