I watch her silently from behind a tree; she's laughing with the Potter boy. She should be mine. She hates James but here she is, after seven years of hating him, laughing with him as if they were old friends. Lily still won't talk to me. I didnt mean to call her a mudblood. But she should forgive me. I showed her that she was a witch. I was her friend- Her best friend. Now, I'm just another slytherin boy.
She walks away with him and I stand alone. I wonder if she knows I love her. Probably not. She's with him. I sigh and walk the other way hoping that I can still somehow be her friend I go and I hang out with the other deatheaters.
I cant keep away so I walk back with newfound confidence: I'm going to get my friend back. I find her easily because her beautiful flaming red hair that smells exuberant. I can almost smell it now. My face falls and so does my confidence when I see her snogging that James Potter.
Goodbye Lily, I say in my head.
She's probably forgotten about me.
But I still love her.
