Of All The Airports.
Welcome to the Mile High Club.
Chad Danforth and Sharpay Evans.
Chad Danforth smiled at the flight attendant he just joined the Mile High Club with in the bathroom on his way off of the plane. Nice service on these flights. Of course that tends to happen when you're the youngest vice president of a Fortune 500 company. Making a note about the flight number and airline, a shrill voice interrupts his thoughts.
"Listen, you wannabe stewardess with bad 80's hair, I know that I booked two seats. One for me, and one for my dog. What good is booking two first class tickets so I can sit next to my dog on the flight, if the seats aren't together?"
"Well, well Evans. Still a bitch after all these years."
"Chad Danforth. Congratulations on finally joining the Mile High Club. You're a big kid now."
"Wishful thinking? Or just a foretelling of how we'll spend our next thirty minutes together?"
"Thirty minutes? You wish. More like thirty seconds. And zip your fly, you're going to make an innocent girl like me blush."
He cleared his throat and clumsily began yanking on his zipper, blushing as Sharpay's glare intensified along with her amused smirk.
"Oh yeah? You know you liked it. Poor, vulnerable, dumped on her skinny white ass, hot girl and suave, charming, wealthy, fine looking young man run into each other in a gin joint. It's practically a romance novel. And so were the noises you were making."
Sharpay's jaw dropped, and her eyes narrowed. All of a sudden Chad felt chills run up and down his spine. He's sure that she's about to say something that'll tear him to shreds when the employee at the desk nervously interrupted.
"Um, Miss Evans? We managed to get your two first class seats next to each other. We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience and we included an upgrade in your next flight."
She smiled that sickly sweet smile of hers and practically snatched the tickets out of her hands.
"Well it's nice to know that people at this airport know how to do their job."
She picked up a small, fluffy, white thing and stuck it underneath her arm. Using her Chanel carry-on bag to move Chad out of the way without so much as a goodbye, she made her way into the gate entrance. He turned around and watched her walk away.
"Oh, Chad?"
Her voice made his head snap up, and their eyes locked.
"Number one, thanks for calling me skinny. Number two, those noises you were referring to? Yeah, I faked those. Toodles!"
And so she left Chad standing by himself, hands deep into his pockets, jaw hanging down near his chest, and a hole in his heart where Sharpay had stomped her Jimmy Choo stilettos all over.
A/N. So as far as concepts go, it's pretty out there. I'm going to write drabbles about different Wildcats that meet up years later in airports. By chance. Or maybe on purpose. Or whatever. But I remember it being a challenge at some point, and I have like fifty different ideas running through my head so I decided to do unrelated drabbles. yay! Want to keep me motivated and leave reviews? Future character ideas are very welcome!
