(just ignore the not being able to breathe part and its all good, k?) o.o;;
Ami sat at Rei's table with the rest of the senshi. It was one of their big monthly meetings, which meant the outers were there too. Makoto was starring dreamily at Haruka, who was currently seated near Michiru. The bluenette sighed. Mako was so obsessed with the butch woman, ever since she layed eyes on her. She was surprised though, when Makoto's crush had been unfazed by the fact of Haruka being female.

Ami continued to watch as Makoto asked the blonde a question, playing with her hair nervously. Haruka simply nodded, barely acknowledging the girl. In turn, the brunette smiled, nodded, and went back to sneaking glances at her with a sad longing in her eyes.

'She's in total love with Ruka, but she doesn't even notice her. If she did, she certainly doesn't care. Mako talks to me sometimes.. about her. She told me that I was the only one she's ever told. She explained how she felt for the bucth; how it depressed her to no end because she knew she couldn't have her. She was torturing herself for nothing. Why couldn't she see that I loved her?

'But she just doesn't see that. She keeps chasing Haruka all over the place. Sure, she's cool and what-not. But what else is there to her? Nothing, except maybe a ride somewhere. Or does she too look like Makoto's legendary old boyfriend?

But I guess if she's sort of happy obsessing over a girl you can't have then I'll let you. I'll just watch you from afar. As long as you're happy, I am too.'
Ami looked back to Haruka and Michiru holding hands, then glanced back to Makoto. She settled, finally, on the wall behind Rei, who was currently speaking.

The meeting ended and everyone stood. Shuffling over to the outer couple, Makoto asked if they'd like to come over to her apartment for dinner. She was coolly declined, and there was a moment of sorrow in her eyes. But as quickly as it had come, it vanished. She nodded with understanding and went to walk away.
Just as she had turned around however, Ami had made her way up to the trio and invited them along with the rest of the senshi to her house for dinner on Friday. After a minute of pondering, Michiru nodded along with her lover.
'Makoto gave me a genuine look of thanks, and I could've cried.. but I didn't. I was happy for her. I still don't understand it, but if it made her happy to be near her, then I'll do everything in my power to make that possible.'
