Maybe I was wrong. Maybe you loved me.

Who am I kidding, it had to have been a ploy to make me forget.
*You're starving me, exhaust me*
Just had to.
*Everything I've done, I've done for you*
Otherwise, I destroyed you world after You, the self styled fairy tale Ice
King pledged his undying love for me.
*I move the stars for no one*
Otherwise I was just another spoilt little girl wanting everything, giving
nothing. A selfish girl who took and took until there was nothing left to
take, then left.
*You've run so long*
I've always run away from things I didn't understand, now a year after my
adventure I have run away from home, and are living with friends in another
state. I seem eternally running, eternally unhappy or unsatisfied with my
surroundings.
*You've run so far*
I must have been in shock after the trials and tribulations of the Labyrinth,
yes that is it. It has to be it. I tried and tried but you must have pushed
me too far.
*Your eyes can be so cruel*
You said I was cruel. Maybe I am cruel, we all appear to be.
*Just as I can be so cruel*
Like you, just like you.
*Though I do believe in you*
You even believed in me over your own hope to win. I guess I am just a pretty
fool, who never understands that from which she runs. No one has ever
believed in me like you did.

And I just ran along for a spoilt little child and blew it! Toby hates me,
he's a little vandal, he wrecks everyone's stuff. He broke the music box,
tried to burn the book.
Oh Jareth all my dreams are being shattered. Only, maybe you were the only
real dream I've ever had.
I was just too young to appreciate it, truly.
*Live without the sunlight*
You....you compared living without me like living without any sunlight. I
wondered what you meant before.
When I was still a child.

You should have never pledged love to a teenager, we never act in
understanding, we only react out of fear or hatred. But you loved me, and I
lost it.

Neither can I Jareth. I can't live without you. I thought I could, but I was
careless and young and silly.

We are as you said, the same, always the same. I actually miss you, you who I
called my greatest enemy.
You who were really, in truth, my greatest chance at true love.
A love I destroyed in the bud.

I'll never be able to live or love without you near me again.
So now I realize that the light of the moon grows dim, that you are gone. At
least for me you are gone.
