Peeta's POV
I've never given much thought to how I would die, but dying in the place of someone I love, seems like a good way to go.
I stood in the field at the side of my mother's house, her and her new husband want to go on the road, so I'm going to stay with my dad.
My dad lives in forkes, he's chief of police, and an all-around good guy.
We pull into the wet drive way and he leads me inside the house and up to my room, from when I used to spend two weeks here. I haven't been inside the room a minute when there's the honk of a horn outside.
I make my way down to find none other than Delly Cartwright and her father stood there.
We used to make mud pies together, me and Delly.
"Surprise son" my father says to me and motions to an orange truck
"Your homecoming present"
"This?" I ask amazed not only is my favourite colour orange but I have wanted a truck for ages
Once I'm at school at lunch we see a blonde girl and a tall dark haired boy walk in I'm informed by Eddie that their called Rosalie and Emit, then come's Alice and Jasper.
Then all of a sudden, it's like the world freezes, as a girl with olive skin and dark brown hair weaved into an elegant braid saunters past the window and opens the door to the lunch room.
