Chapter 1
"Yo bay-bay! Let me get a piece of the ass." I heard some guy scream behind me.
Every possible scenario is running through me head.
"STRANGER DANGER"
Come on Bella, get off the damn street and into the store.
Walking around in this part of town can be kind of dangerous. After all, a 25 year old walking around the streets of Atlanta… well this part of Atlanta is quite daring.
See… I just moved here from my cozy home in tiny, boring, Forks, Washington. My bestie, who is now in New York City suggested I needed a change; I had always been in Forks… no boyfriend, EVER, thanks to my over-protective cop dad. Anyway, Alice, the bestie suggested I put in a college application in for one University in each state. That's how I ended up here, after randomly picking from a stack of acceptance letters; I ended up at Georgia State University.
With my lovely job at a local diner, playing a whopping $2.25 per hour, plus tips, I was able to get a small 1 bedroom apartment… in what would be considered, "the ghetto," I assume.
I have one week before the start of my college life…
