Short poem on the Mad Hatter's POV about Alice's first adventure in Wonderland R&R please!
WARNING: I do not and will never own the amazing characters of Alice In Wonderland. They will always belong to Lewis Carroll! :)
Little Girl
Sweet little girl
With the sun in your golden locks,
Your laugh is the tinkle of glass,
As you watch the White Rabbit
And chase him down the rabbit hole.
Curious little girl
With milk-chocolate eyes,
Please don't cry.
Have you gotten lost?
I'll help you find your way back
Home.
Naughty little girl
With a Mona-Lisa smile,
Must you always be late for tea?
You've gotten your dress dirty!
Oh, dear!
Naïve little girl,
Do you think this is a dream?
You say to yourself it is impossible,
But only if you believe it is.
Foolish little girl,
Shaking your head from side to side,
Do you wish to keep your head?
You're sure to lose it
If you have not already.
Crazy little girl,
Can you not see the truth?
You cannot escape your dreams
If you're dreams live within you.
Do not forget, little girl,
We are all mad here,
And it is madness to escape.
Dear little girl,
Why is a raven like a writing desk?
You could stay, you know.
My little girl,
Must you really leave?
I can only hope
That someday you'll remember me.
Perhaps at that fateful day
You would fall down again,
And then…
You wouldn't be late for tea.
Until then,
My dear, sweet, curious, naughty
Naïve, foolish, crazy little girl.
Until then,
Fairfarren.
So, what did you think! Please review, and no flames, tomatoes, or flying monkeys please!
