Rukia, Ichigo, Renji, Orihime, Hitsugaya, and Rangiku were all in Orihime's living discussing about the war coming up with Aizen when all of a sudden Rukia asks "What's todays' date?"
"July 15"says Ichigo.
"Umm, Rukia? Your captain was talking about a man named Kaien, who is he?"asks Orihime. Renji, Hitsugaya and Rangiku all look at Rukia knowing about what happened those many years ago.
"Kaien was...was..." Rukia cant say anything else because tears go into her eyes. "I-I have to go."says Rukia running out of the living room and Orihime's house.
Hitsugaya goes after her.
"What's wrong with Rukia?"asks Ichigo.
"Man, Orihime you should have never asked Rukia who Kaien was."says Renji.
"Renji, she doesnt know, so it isnt her fault."says Rangiku
"Well if Rukia wanted them to know about him should would have told them."says Renji.
"I'm sorry. Its just that Ukitake talked about him and said that Rukia was never the same after what happened, so I was curious about what happened."says Orihime.
"Yeah Rukia wasnt the same after him, she turned cloder towards people,I guess I could tell you."says Renji.
"Wait why did Toshiro go after Rukia?"asks Ichigo.
"I'll tell you that considering that Rukia was going to tell you today. OKay well Kaien was the lieutenant of squad 13, also Rukia's squad. He was the one who treated Rukia as an equal and not different because she was a noble. Rukia and him became really close, you can even say she had a crush on him, which I'm not sure if she did. He trained with her everyday and since a lot of the girls had a huge crush on him they started to hate her, but Kaien still trained and was her friend untill one day a hollow kills his wife. Kaien gets mad and wants revenge, so Captain Ukitake, Rukia, and Kaien go to the hollows layer. Kaien fights him on his own and gets his zanpakto dissmolished. The hollow goes inside of Kaien and Captain Ukitake gets one of his TB attacks so the hollow goes after Rukia and she kills him. Eventhough he thanked her and everyone told her it wasn't her fault she still carries the guilt."says Renji.
"Oh"says Orihime feeling very bad for her violet eyed friend.
"Thats sad, but you still didnt answer my question."says Ichigo.
"Oh, sorry. Rukia and Captain Hitsugay are dating."says Renji.
"Yes they are. They make the cutest couple ever!"squeals Rangiku.
"WHAT?!"yells Ichigo.
Rukia and Hitsugaya
"Are you okay?"Toshiro asks Rukia, pulling Rukia close to him.
"Yeah, it just hurts thinking about him."says Rukia feeling good to be in his arms.
"Stop blaming yourself."says Toshiro.
"I cant help it."says Rukia.
They sit together, in each others arms untill the sun sets and Toshiro says "Lets go back." Rukia nods.
When they get back, Toshiro tells Rukia to wait outside untill he tells her to come inside. He goes inside the house and sees everyone there arguing about something.
'Probably something stupid' thinks Toshiro.
"Oranges are orange!"
'Yep, something stupid, alright.'
"Oi! Stop fighting,idiots and if you guys bring the topic of Kaien you will wish you never did."says Toshiro. He turns, goes to the door opens it and tells Rukia to come inside. When she goes inside she gets dragged by Orihime and Rangiku, asking questions about her and Toshiro's relationship. Rukia starts talking and smiling and Toshiro cant be any happier than seeing the girl he loves smiling.
