Prologue:
Nostariel Ithilwen was the daughter of lord Elrond and lady Celebrian. Being the daughter of the lord of Imaldris meant she had to stay in one place, that being either Imaldris or Lorien.
Legolas being the son of king Thranduil was next in line for the throne of Mirkwood. He was in love with his childhood friend Nostariel, who also was in love with him as well but wouldn't admit it.
