Yuuki Kuran curled up like a ball in her bed. She couldn't believe it, no, she wouldn't believe it.
Her precious onii-sama, Kaname Kuran, was actually not her brother?
She was so confused, and frustrated at herself. Why did this ALWAYS have to happen to her? Just when she thought there were no dark secrets left, another one appears! She-she loved Kaname! With all her heart! But, did she still want to stay by his side after this…?
"You are sinful."
The pure-blood woman gasped and sat up quickly, that… voice….
"How long do you plan on pitying yourself over nothing?" That cold, familiar voice was mocking her.
"S-stop it, I-I'm not pitying myself! I, I'm j-just confused!" Yuuki clenched the hem of her satin nightgown with tears in her eyes.
"Lying is useless."
Yuuki was about to resort back but was stopped when another voice interrupted her.
"I… was locked up inside that sad place because of him. Day after day like a porcelain doll, sitting quietly, saying nothing, doing nothing, not living life, day after day." Hio Shizuka stated softly not looking at Yuuki or anything in particular. She was so beautiful, crying but showing no emotion.
"Living in silence is useless."
Ah, that voice again. So filled with disgust, with hatred. Why was it here? Why was Shizuka-sama here? Her head hurts. She's tired. She wants the voices to go away. Please, someone help her, help her make them go away.

"Then, one day he came, bringing life with him. He was not afraid of me. Not afraid that I was going to eat him. It was comforting.
"Comfort is useless."

"Happiness is useless."

"Stop it! Why are you telling me this anyway? I don't want to hear it anymore!" Yuuki screamed, now holding her hands over her ears. Hoping to block out the sounds. Shizuka-sama didn't reply but…
"Your whining is useless."
That's it. She snapped.
"JUST WHO THE HECK ARE YOU ANYWAYS?"
"Who…am…I?"
"I'm afraid…vampires…will eat me."
"Who am I?"
"Zero, drink my blood!"
"I am…"
"I… love Kaname-senpai!"
""I am…"
"I promised Zero I would protect him, but,"
"I AM…"
"My past…"
"…You."
Yuuki screamed. Tears overflowing. Then, she passed out.
The last thing she heard from Shizuka and "she" said was,
"This is your fate as a beast disguised in human form."
