Story Summary: The moments the women of Wisteria Lane find out how desperate Mary Alice really was. Pre-Series
A/N: I've always wondered what would have happened.
I Know What You Did
The sea-foam blender had been tucked perfectly into its little niche in the cupboard when the daunting feeling set in.
Martha Huber frantically shut the cabinet doors and hustled out of her house. Scurrying out, down the sidewalk, and dodging the sprinkler, she passed the home that would forever haunt her.
Martha slowed, giving a glance into the windows of a house to who's secrets she kept. She knew the note had gotten to Mary Alice. But it served her right. Mary Alice was a cold blooded killer who had stolen a child and murdered it's mother. Martha herself wouldn't have been able to live with a secret like that: having killed a woman, a mother.
But she has. It's partially her fault. Guilt marred her most inner mind, pulling at her thoughts.
In reality, she had killed Mary Alice Young.
The guilt continued to pulse her veins, and she hurried for help. Crossing a perfectly manicured lawn, she rushed to the Van de Kamp's doorstep.
She swallowed deeply, guilt stricken and motionless. Martha knocked on the door.
