One Last Look

A/N: Okay, so, my brain is not working, I'm lazy, and school is a frickin' bitch. Promo shot this theory inside my head. My mood is high (meaning anything annoying, not helpful pisses me off) and I just need to vent a little with writing. Enjoy!
She said she was leaving. Maybe or maybe not, you don't know. Was it because of you? She's been acting weird lately, talking about going off to Poo Poo something something to go look at remains of two million year old skeletal remains. Something like that.
But then she tells you it's something more. She needs space. You turn the tables on her science mumbo jumbo and say that she already has space.
She smiles at this and says, "I know this may be hard on everyone, including you Booth, but, with everything that's been going on, the trial, and I just need to take a break from this." Your eyes widen from surprise, both of She's going to take a break? and She's actually leaving? You sit there dumb-struck and you feel your cheek wets. You're crying.
And then she kisses you.
It's out of the blue, she's holding onto your tie, pressing her lips against yours. She pushes you down onto the couch (Wait, how did we get to my apartment? We were at the diner!) and she straddles you. You stop her from kissing you and you ask,
"Are you sure?" She answers you by kissing you. If she's leaving there is one thing that's on your mind.
I'm going to show her what making love really is.
You make love to her all night, thrusting slowly inside her, just wanting to make the night last.
In the morning, she tells you she has a flight. She doesn't tell you where. But she'll keep in contact, emails, calling, texts. You smiled as she kissed you one last time and left in the cab to her apartment. She gives you that look again, turning her torso back and looking at you in the window on the back of the cab, smiling and waving a little. You kick at a rock on the ground and you go back inside your building.
That last look may have just made your whole life complete.
