Sherlock has been gone for a year now, and John is finally moving on. That all changes when he and Molly go to dinner one night. Post-TRF but season three hasn't happened. This is my take on Sherlock coming back. Sherlolly eventually not John/Molly

Hello everyone! I'm back after a really long time. I know I really shouldn't be writing yet another story, but this idea has been floating around in my head for a really long time. In this story season three has not happened. This is post-TRF, but I'm doing Sherlock's return in a different way. I hope you enjoy this story!

The Return Chapter 1: John?

Molly's POV

"Hey Molly can you do this autopsy for me? I can't stop coughing, and it's driving me crazy." Mike, my boss, said coming into my office, when I was doing some paperwork.

"Yeah no problem, I hope you get better." I said.

"Thanks so much Molly." He said walking out of my office, but he popped his head back in. "Oh someone is in the morgue waiting for you." He walked away leaving me confused. Then I got really excited. Sherlock may be back! I basically ran to the morgue, but who I saw was even more of a surprise then Sherlock who be. It was John.

"John what a surprise, I haven't seen you in forever." I said putting my lab coat on.

"Yeah I haven't seen you since-"He paused. "Anyways I wanted to know if you wanted to go to dinner with me sometime and catch up. I've become a recluse, and I don't like it."

"Yeah that would be wonderful. Let me finish this one autopsy for Mike, and then we can go." I said getting the body out. John just sat on a stool, while I did the autopsy. "Okay I'm ready to go." I said taking my lab coat off and grabbing my stuff.

"Great there's this little café I found that stays open pretty late." I looked at my watch to see that it had taken me longer than I thought it would.

"That sounds great." We got into a cab and went to the little café. We stayed in there for two hours. "Well it's been fun, John. I'm glad that you're finally moving on. I need to get home and feed Toby." I said starting to walk off.

"Let me walk you home. It's pretty late, and I don't want you to get hurt."

"My flat is just right there. You don't need to walk me home."

"I want to though." I nodded and we started walking.

Well there you go the first chapter of this story! This is not going to be a John/Molly story. You'll just have to wait and see what I do from this point. Until then! Bye!
