The Brother sat next to the Child's bed, watching his chest slowly rise up and down, the heart monitor being the only sound in the room. The Brother took a deep breath, and started speaking.

"...Can you hear me?"

The Child showed no response.

"...This isn't what I wanted...Things weren't meant to end like this...It was just supposed to be a joke..." The Brother grabs a present box from under the chair. "I even got you a present. I was gonna give it to you after we pulled you out FredBear's mouth." He unwraps the present and opens it, pulling out a new Foxy plushie from within the box. "It's a new Foxy plushie. I know that you weren't happy that I ripped off the head of your old one." He places the Foxy plushie next to the Child's head and smiles meekly, only to sigh in defeat moments later.

"...I don't know if you can even hear me..." He looks at the Child, who still shows no response. "Thing really weren't meant to go like this. I don't know what I was thinking. I regret my decision to pull that prank on you. I wish...I wish that I'd been nicer to you. I kept using your fear against you. And...That wasn't very brotherly of me..." He takes the Child's hand in between his own, as tears start to stream down his face. "...I'm sorry. I'm really, really sorry. Please come back. I promise I'll treat you a lot better. Just...Please...Come back..." The Brother starts sobbing quietly, holding the Child's hand tightly.

The Child weakly gripped the Brother's hand, making his head fly straight up. "...Bro...ther...?" The Child spoke, in a weak voice. The Brother jumped up, crying. "Thank God, you're awake! Mom, dad, he woke up!" "Bro...ther...?" "I'm here, what is it?" The Child turned to his Brother, barely managing a smile, and with his final breath, said: "...I...Forgive you..." And as he loosened his weak grip on his Brother's hand, his heart monitor emitted a prolonged beep. The Child had flatlined. The Brother dropped to his knees and started crying hysterically, as medics and the parents rushed in. Despite their best attempts, they could not bring the Child back. However, they noticed something odd while examining him. The Child had passed away with a smile on his face.
