Life is precious, as you can see,
For god took someone very precious to me.
His name is Eddie Guerrero
And his motto was to Lie, Cheat and Steal,
I thought his death was a hoax, and wasn't real.
But when I read the headlines I just broke down and cried,
I really wish that WWE had lied.
It wasn't his time, god, can't you see that?
You took a good man and we can't have him back!
No matter how much I scream and shout,
There is nothing to be happy about.
He is gone and I'll just have to face the fact,
That he's never coming home and that's that.
I wish I could have met you, before you went away,
But I know that we'll meet someday.
When that time comes, I know it'll be right,
Because heaven will shine it's light.
But now it's time to say goodbye,
I promise I'll keep smiling,
Just for you, because you're proof
That dreams really do come true.
