Ventus stands with his keyblade ready to attack Vanitas. "My friends are my power!" Ventus shouts, and I will protect them even if it means dieing, he adds silently to himself. His heart silently breaking as he is once again thrown in to a deep and endless sleep, perhaps to never see his friends again. Unknowingly he leaves Aqua's outstretched hand empty and tired full of sadness.

Aqua sees Terra begin to fall into the thick, soupy pool of darkness, she gasps and jumps in following the man in. Riding her glider she shouts, "The darkness can't have you!" catching up to him she reaches out grabbing a hold of his tan hand she lifts him onto her glider. The opening is to far for both pf them to be saved, she realizes this and transforms her glider back to her keyblade while her armor still holds on to Terra. "I'm with you." she murmurs softly to his conscious form and wraps his hand around Rainstorm's handle. "Go!" Aqua yells as her only chance of getting out of the darkness becomes a mere speck and disappears with her friend back to the light.
Terra wakes up with a pounding in his head and he realizes that Aqua saved him gave him a chance but then all of his memories fade and are replaced with a blank slate of nothing.

Sora gives Donald and Goofy one last grin before looking at Kairi, Don't worry Kairi I love you, and then raises Soul Eater and plunges it into his heart. Kairi's heart now back she looks for Sora only to find a heartless in his place.

Xion is dieing, fading away along with all the memories of her and Roxas is sad and confused. "No! Xion..." he grab her hand as it slips from his face, "Who will I have ice cream with?" he asks in panic and anguish. Xion's eyes close and she fades into crystals of light in her place a shell is left. Roxas picks up the shell thinking, I never held her until now, but she is gone and I'll never see her again. A single tear slides down his cheek and dropps onto the polished sea shell.

Sora stare at the man who now lay fading into oblivion. "Axel what were you trying to do?" Sora asks.
"I wanted to see Roxas." Axel replies, Sora starts but listens as the redhead nobody continues, "He...was the only one I ever liked. He made feel...like I had a heart." Axel smiles a bit and creates a portal so that Sora, Donald and Goofy can find Kairi and stop Xemnas. The trio stays until Axel has faded completely before moving on. Maybe they did feel, Sora comtemplates, maybe they had some heart not just empty and hollow inside. I just wish Axel was still alive... a small, quite, new voice cries "Please come back Axel."

A man with tanned skin and silver hair looks down at a spiky blonde haired boy laying in a white bed in an equally white room. The man known as *Xemnas or Terra says in a deep voice, "Still a sleep I see Ven," he sighs heavily, "It's been twelve years and still no sign of you waking nor of Aqua. I need you two to be alive, please come back." Terra turns away from Ven and walks out of the room with little hope for his friends' return.
*Xemnas is Terra's body just controlled by Xehanort, so I thought that maybe Terra is still in the body just buried so deep in the abyss of his heart that from time to time Terra would fight for control and would win so sometimes he would visit Ven in CO and he would see if Ven had woken up and tell him about his search for Aqua.
