Over the course of the average lifetime you meet a lot of people. Some of them stick with you through thick and thin. Some weave their way through your life and disappear forever. But once in awhile someone comes along who earns a permanent place in your heart.

Shane walks onto the stage of the teen music awards. he can see Mitchie from were he is and he can't help but think, 'why are we singing this song? Why tonight? After Mitchie has been nothing but nice to me? ' He looks at Nate who is playing the song's opening. All Shane wanted to tell Mitchie was he's sorry for the song and anything that he has said and done to hurt her. Nate looks at Shane and Shane begins to sing the song.

As Shane walks off the stage he knew what he had to do, something he had been thinking about doing for sometime now and he walks to Tess. Why did he ever date her?

Shane takes Tess's hand in his "Tess, we are done." Shane says into his microphone and walks to Mitchie. He can hear Tess yelling at him but he doesn't care.

He just looks into her eyes. "I'm so sorry Mitch!" she pulls away from him this time and starts to walk up the aisle.

Shane runs after Mitchie "you always have been, Mitchie." he tells her and the world. "I want to be with you!" "Shane, you just want to make a good show for your fans!" Mitchie yells at him as she walks to Caitlyn and Peggy.

Now I've got some enemies

And they're all friends suddenly

BFF's eternally

But I'm not bitter

Shane runs to Caitlyn and Peggy and pulls them up to dance with him and Nate.

Before he walks to Mitchie and sings to her. Mitchie looks at Caitlyn and Peggy. How can they do this to her. Yes she still loves Shane but can she even feel safe with him? He left after five years. Five years of her loving and caring for and about him.

"Mitchie, you know I love you, I have for Five years, I never stopped! Will you marry me?" Shane asks her walking to her. "Good night, Everyone." Nate yells as the show ends.
