Chapter 1
I had been fighting and running from about 100 monsters ever since Lupa let me "find my path" to camp and not get eaten by monsters. She told me that she would me meet me there and to survive and get there would be "Showing my worth." I had 2 pens, one from my Patron, who would not reveal who he or she was. One was black and the other gold. I soon learned that the black one didn't keep the monsters from coming back. Oh, if I forgot to mention the cherry on top, I had no memory of my past, just knowledge on how to fight, and talk Latin. A roar sounded behind me, and I knew I was wasting time by taking my first break in 2 days, I was dead tired, but the sense I had learned with Lupa kept me going knowing that the borders were only half a mile away. I could see the towering walls of the camp, knowing all the suffering and frustration was worth it as I got to my goals. One problem, the gates were shut and there was a burly kid in a purple shirt, giving a evil smile. "Sorry kid, you have to loose the monsters before we open the gates, Dakota and Octavian orders."
I yelled out in frustration as one side of the kids on the gates smiled, and the other side gave me sympatric looks and alarmed looks as they the monsters coming. I was in total rage and frustration; I didn't come all this way for them to give me nice looks. I turned around and decided I would go down, but these creatures from Pluto would go down with me. A kid, maybe 6 or 7 came towards the gates with a small harpy following me. I yelled out "At least open the gates for the kid."
The burly kid shrugged, this is Rome, where the weak die and the strong conquer."
They wouldn't even save a kid! I let loose all my emotions in to words that came to my head "Terrae motus!"
The ground started to shake, and cracks sprung open, water surrounded me as I shaked with anger. The monsters cired in agony and evrything was over and silent as looked at the gatekeeper "Can I come in now?"
The gates opened and mama wolf was there to greet me "Ah, Percy Jackson, I've been waiting for you."
