Author's note: Hi! If you're reading this, THANK YOU! This is my first time writing anything like this. I heard this song and i was like,"Wow, I should write something based on this." Please review and be harsh! I totally understand if it stinks because...I still need to work on this area of my writing. Oh and I totally recommend listening to this song. It's really good though I know country isn't always for everyone. ^^ Alright, ENJOY!

Untouchable, like a distant diamond sky

I'm reaching out and I just can't tell you why

I'm caught up in you

He could feel her. Her breathe was his heartbeat. It rested on his skin like morning dew, fragile to the touch. He wanted it so bad. But he knew it was all his imagination. She wasn't there.

I'm caught up in you

She wondered if he knew. That there was only one person she would watch at her post. She held his hand at night, hoping he would sense her presence. Say those words she thirsted for, day and night. How she saw him with another and was happy, but knew that something in the deepest parts of her heart, had died a million times over.

Untouchable, burning brighter than the sun

And when you're close, I feel like coming undone

In the middle of the night, when I'm in this dream

It's like a million little stars spelling out your name

He couldn't lie there any longer. He stood up, not knowing where to go, just knowing his feet would take him. It was like that day. That day she was taken away. He felt dwarfed by the magnitude of the realization that time was but another precious jewel in this world.

You gotta, come on, come on

Say that we'll be together

She remembered more than anything, that day. Time had slowed, watching him run towards her. She wanted to scream, scream, lose what little composure she had. Yet she didn't, instead she sat with silent tears rolling down her face, praying that they would douse the flames that were about to take her away from him.

Come on, come on

Little taste of heaven

His walk had taken him back to the place, where the lilies bloomed in the spring. His mind wandered to the memory he'd reflect on when he was in his darkest hour. Her laugh echoed, as she ran away from him in a field of wild flowers. He chased her, into oblivion, knowing that he would never catch her. Whether this memory was a dream or actually happened, it didn't matter. It was beautiful all the same.

It's half-full, and I won't wait here all day

I know you're saying, you'd be here anyway

But you're untouchable, burning brighter than the sun

And now that you're close I feel like coming undone

She remembered watching him after she left. He sat at the river bank with nothing but her cross in his hands. Staring at the sky. Strange, he was never found but she was glad. That was their spot. The memories there could do nothing but bring a smile to her face. That cheeky little bastard, trying to outwit her when they played games. They were children again.

In the middle of the night, when I'm in this dream

It's like a million little stars spelling out your name

You gotta, come on, come on

He watched the stream move, running to get somewhere, yet had nowhere to go. He chuckled to himself. Always the trickster, she was, leaning in for what he thought was a kiss, only to launch him into the stream. She was such child sometimes. They both were.

Say that we'll be together

Come on, Come on

In the middle of the night

We could form this dream

I wanna feel you by my side

Standing next to me

She sat watching the earth.

You gotta come on, come on

Say that we'll be together

He watched the stars.

Come on, come on

Little taste of heaven

And they saw each other

I'm caught up in you
