Touched by an angel

Kai lied on his bed in the royal palace. His eyes were red from crying. His one and only true love had died from an incident after the battle with Tala. Kai's love was the princess of Symphonia, Aurora Black, the scout of Rapidash.

"Prince Kai?" asked a voice. It was young Tyson, the scout of Dragoon.

"Yes?" answered Kai. He turned his head to look at his fellow scout.

"Dinner is ready,"

"I'm not really hungry,"

"Oh, ok," and Tyson left. Kai walked to his wide balcony and saw the sun setting. He then thought about how he and Aurora had met.

Flashback

Aurora bowed to the King of Dranzer, saying she wants Symphonia and Dranzer to work together. Kai was next to his father and stared at the beautiful scout. She was loyal. Aurora looked up to see Kai and blushed. Kai was so handsome to her.

Incident in Battle

Aurora began to fade away. She died after using her broach to bring her friends back to life, including Kai. Aurora finally faded away. All that was left of her was her sword and her broken broach.

End of Flashback.

Tears fell out of Kai's eyes and he fell onto his knees. He was too miserable to move on. If only he had protected her, Aurora would be by his side right now. Suddenly, Kai felt warm hands being wrapped around him. He turned around to see a ghost figure of Aurora. Kai's eyes widened.

"Aurora?" asked Kai. Aurora nodded. She was speechless as she was only a ghost form.

"Please come back," whispered Kai. Aurora looked down in sadness. She couldn't come back until another enemy arrived but the world seemed to be in peace and harmony. Aurora then looked at the hopeful Kai and shook her head. Aurora saw tears come out of Kai's eyes but she wiped them with her loving hands. Then, she walked back and flew up.

"Aurora!" cried Kai. Aurora looked down at the sad prince and smiled. She finally said "I will be back when another evil arrives. Please don't cry otherwise I won't be able to rest in peace," Aurora then disappeared. Kai wiped his tears and then got up. He pulled himself together and smiled. She didn't exactly die; she was only pulled up to heaven.
