Prologue

Mihael Keehl, age7, and Emily Keehl, age 5. Both of these children were in front of the wreckage left from the fire that claimed their parents' lives, the latter of the two complaining about the pain in her left leg. They had been instructed to always wait for their parents in a situation like this.

Mello

I don't think they survived the fire. Not many people can survive a fire like that. And Emi's hurt. If only she didn't try to save her stuffed animal…

Neighbor

"There's a fire at the Keehl's place." I spoke into the phone, " Yeah again." It had to be their pyromaniac son of theirs; Mello. Emily wouldn't hurt a fly. I thought. "Do there appear to be any injuries?" "Uh… I think…"
