Chapter One-

A young male of 17 stood in front of a mirror, adjusting his tye for the fifth time in the last two minutes, making sure it was just perfect for his new school. Domino High was in a super human league of it's pure own. So of course the young man was determined to look his best, even if he did stand at a height of 5 foot 2, but none the less of the matter. Taking a deep relaxing breath, the young man smiled warmly into the mirror with his reflection, "Today's the day Yuugi, remember to grasp each opportunity by the horns like mother would chuckle about." a firm smile sketched onto the mans face then melted off as an old raspy voice that had deepend with age shouted, "Yuugi hurry up! You'll be late if you don't get down here now!" Yuugi chuckled a little as he grabbed his backpack and rested a strap onto one of his shoulders. "Coming Grandpa!" he shouted right back with a hint of laughter as he walke dout of his room, turning back one more time to see a small picture frame with 4 people standing neatly and smiling perfectly frozen in time. With that Yuugi shut his door and walked down the steps into his livingroom, where an elderly man stood, "Now my boy off to school!" he whisked Yuugi off and out the front door. As Yuugi took the first step outside, he was blinded for a short second as he blinked and his world...well thats the catch you see...in this fairytale, most people, if not all, couldnt see color, not til they touched their soulmate, but most didnt believe that crap...but Yuugi most currently did. In fact Yuugi was wearing white gloves with his gold and navy blue uniform, some hints of white here and there with a neat gold tye. It just matched better of course!

Yuugi slowly made his way towarss his car, a nicely built mustang from 1998, a beautiful year for mustangs of course, his car was inlaid with sliver and a rich rose gold that reflected like silver in the moonlight was matched perfectly with the cream colored leather seats as well as the cream color of the vehicle itself. As he cranked the key, the engine purred to life, Yuugi adjusted his mirror and looked at his hair, which was oddly star shaped as well as tri colored, which matched his pale skin and wide purple eyes, not really amethyst but not really a indigo either, just the perfect mix to him. Golden bangs framed his face as he slipped on some sunglasses and buckled in, whipping out of the driveway so fast and barreled down the street to Domino High, might as well make a very good entrance to impress some people of course! Yuugi turned on his radio and turned the volume up so he could hum along while driving, or was it cruising? he waved the thought off as he pulled into the parklot of the senior parking lot, turning a corner just right, annnddd...Yuugi slamed on his brakes slaming on his horn, " Watch where you're going!" He called out in a snarl as the male he almost ran over glared at him, "Maybe you should learn to drive better!" the other called out, before walking away with a hard glare on his face. Yuugi sighed and pulled into a spot, and parking his beautiful car. What a day this is turning out, he thought as he turned off his car and locked it up tightly.

Yugi walked towards his first class of the day after getting his schedule from his TA. He did a small hum in thought, his classes were Archaeology related per his request. So first its ancient history with Mr. Silver, then... Yugi's thoughts trailed off as he walked down the hall, his nose in his paper. Smack! Crash! Two groans echoed each other as Yugi had landed on top of someones legs, hhis head spinning a little, but he carefully rolled off of the person. "So sorry!" he spilled out the apology as he stood up to help the poor soul he crashed into. "So first the parking lot and now the hallways?" a slightly amused yet irritated voice quiped up as a hand took Yugi's. Yugi blinked in horror as he got a better image of the man he was helping. Standing at around 5'7 was none other than Yami Sennen, the most powerful and handsome man in the school, he was in the same grade as Yugi. Yugi only knew this information when he accidentally made friends with Joey Wheeler in his TA class as they grabbed schedules. "Im so sorry! Im new here and I was trying to remember my scheduled and I wasn't looking, I didn't mean to crash into you like that!" Yugi fumbled with his apologies as he turned red with embarrassment. Yami chuckled a little, "Do you always just keep talking?" Yugi bit his lip to stop his mouth from running.

Yami smiled a little, as he walked away, "See you around." he said as he walked off towards one of the many classroom doors and stalked inside. Yugi blushed as he walked quickly to Mr. Silver's class, finding it easily after looking at a school map once...or maybe twice.

A few hours had pasted as Yugi had a face of pure excitement as he entered his classes. The rooms were large and beautiful cherry wooden desks shined in the sunlight from high widows, heavy black curtains pushed to the sides so the sun coyld filter through the class. Yugi was in complete awe of it all as he walked towards his last teacher of the day, who quickly gave Yugi a seat. Back of the classroom for a new student? Interesting choice, he thought but never voiced it out loud. HeHe made his way to the back as sat in his seat, pulling out the book he needed. He also pulled out a notebook and pen, he preferred pens over pencils. Easier to catch mistakes with. He lastly pulled out some white out incase his perfect penmanship made a mistake here and there. Yugi sat up and layed everything out in front of him, perfect and neat, his gloves still on his hands and sleeves never rolled up. Thats til he spotted him entering. Yami. Yugi fought the urge to roll his eyes, but never the less he smiled as Yami took his assigned seat, which was two seats away from Yugi's own. A soft sigh was released through Yugi's nose as he turned to look out the window of the classroom, he was dunked in sunlight, but he looked outside at the fresh green grass and the very few birds that went by. Today was to say the least, a very interesting day.
