Chapter 1: Heartbreaks and Concerts.

" It's not that I thought we would be together forever I just though that maybe it would last a little longer" said Callie on the phone with her best friend Anita. " I really hoped it would be more than a month type of relationship. Anita, I really did love him" Callie had just broken up with her boyfriend Frank. She had been crushing on him for months and was overjoyed when he asked her out. Callie had thought everything was going fine but Frank had other thoughts. He had found some one else but Callie wasn't ready to move on. "Anita, I need to get going to bed. I'll talk to you tomorrow" Callie hung up the phone and curled into bed hoping this whole day had been a dream.

The next day callie awoke to her cell phone ringing. It was anita. " Why was she calling so early: thought Callie as she picked up the phone.

" Hello?"
" Hey Callie!"
" why are you calling so early?"
" Well.. I got tickets to a concert downtown! Want to come?"
" Sure!"
"Alright, I'll drop bye and pick you up at 12."
" Okay Anita. Cya then"

Callie had only 3 hours to get ready and she wanted to look good. " I want to get over Frank and if looking sexy downtown work then I'll do it!" thought callie as she jumped into the shower.

It was 11:55 and Callie was ready to go. She had lined eyes and glossed lips. She looked spectacular. She heard Anita honk the car horn and she grabbed her purse and ran to the car.
" Wow! Callie you look great!" said anita as Callie jumped into the car
" Thanks, So do you" said Callie looking at Anita. Anita was wearing a cute mini skirt and a halter-top. She really did look good.

The two girls drove downtown and entered the club were the concert took place. As callie strolled to her seat a boy with pierced ears and punk clothing bumped into her.

" Oh! I'm so sorry. I hope I didn't hurt you." Said the boy
Callie, surprised at his kindness replied, " thank you I'm fine."
The boy looked at her and smiled " I'm James. And you are..?"
"callie, I'm Callie."
James smiled and said " nice to meet you Callie. But I gotta run I'll see you after the show?"
Callie replied " yeah. Sure"
James sprinted off into the crowd and waved goodbye to her.
