Hey guys, schnauzerlover here (Yes Fiona...A schnauzer's a dog). So I went to see the new Robin Hood today and decided to write this bit of fluff-dedicated to Fiona (Girlfromvenus123) and Aoife (Don't even know if she has a fanfiction account).

Scorpius walked into the Heads' Common Room, running his pale white hand over his exhausted face, he came to a stop however when he saw the Head Girl, Rose Weasley, sitting reading on the sofa.

He and Rose had never been friends, but neither had the been complete enemies. They just...were. At this point, Rose turned around and interrupted Scorpius' musings.

"Hey." She said, smiling.

"Hey," He grinned back, and he went to sit next to her. "What are you reading?"

"Robin Hood, the book version obviously." She replied slipping a book mark into the pages.

This made Scorpius hesitate, he knew she was a bookworm, but he'd always had a different idea of the books she read.

"Funny," He started, "I always thought you'd hate that kind of thing."

Her eyebrows pulled together in a frown, what did he know about her?

"What do you mean?" She asked curiously.

"Well I always thought that you'd be vehemently opposed to the 'damsel in distress' theme. You know, Robin always having to save Maid Marian and the men going out to fight while the women stay at home in the kitchen. I've always thought that you were a real feminist."

Rose looked at him incredulously and then released a snort of laughter.

"The way I look at it," She said, "Women who are always defending themselves and saying that women should fight and stuff view fighting as the only important important thing in the world. Of course women shouldn't spend all their time in the kitchen,"

At this she directed a pointed glare at Scorpius,

"but they shouldn't have to hack other human beings apart either. They can change the world with their brains, compassion and patience, but they shouldn't have to fight, what else are men here for?" She smirked at this, as though challenging him.

"Do you honestly think that's all us men are good for?" Asked Scorpius with one eyebrow raised.

"Yes," She smirked, "Why? What else can you do?" She challenged.

And as Scorpius looked at the red headed girl in front of him, with the firelight dancing on her red locks and her full mouth turned up in a half smile, he realised something that was going to change his life.

He loved her.

"I can do this." He whispered, then he bent over and kissed her softly, and, to his immense relief and joy,

She kissed him back.

Au revoir! And although I know most people don't review one shots, PLEASE make an exception...just this once. :)
