Chap. 1
One day I was playing minecraft. I had been exploring an abandoned mine for a while when all of a sudden I heard a hissing sound behind me. I thought, "Uh oh it's a creeper." But alas it was too late and the respawn screen came up. This time though there was more than just one respawn button. One said respawn one the other said respawn two. I didn't know what the second was but I assumed the first was normal respawn. I clicked respawn two and at first nothing happened. Then I saw code flash across my screen and there was a flash of green light. When I opened my eyes I saw chunks. They were everywhere and began to turn into the eerily familiar blocks of the game I was playing seconds ago. I realized with a start that somehow that second respawn option transported me to the world of minecraft...
For a while I just stood there trying to figure out how I had gotten there. I had been thinking for about ten minutes when all of a sudden i heard a loud voice that seemed to come from everywhere. It said you three have been chosen to test this top secret version of minecraft. I thought to myself there are two others here just like me! The voice continued you will play this version just like the other. There is a bracelet on your wrist that will show health and hunger level. Also this bracelet will keep track of experience you get. I looked at my wrist and was surprised to find a bracelet there that hadn't been there before. Again I heard the voice the time here is different than the time you are used to playing, a day is about fifteen minutes usually but here time is normal. A day here is 24 hours long just like time in the real world. The voice stopped talking and I sat for another ten minutes thinking upon the things I had just heard. I decided after thinking for a while that I needed to make shelter and light so I could survive the night. I walked up to a tree and thought about how I was going to break it. When I touched the tree it took some damage and I was shocked. I then proceeded to claw at the tree with my hand. After three seconds the tree block fell and I held in my hand. I looked around for somewhere to put it .when I felt a weight appear on my back...
