It'd been two hours since the sun rose over the city of Badlands, South Dakota. It was Adam and Ryan's final day living in the city. They were already up packing their bags to move to a safer city in North Dakota. Their mother didn't want them around Badlands after the recent accident at the South Dakota Biological Experiments Crew (S.D.B.E.C) science show.
The S.D.B.E.C held a presentation of a new experiment but things got out of hand when the experiment had a sudden desire to kill. Adam was barely able to escape but in all the mix, he and his brother Ryan ended up with superhuman abilities. Using his ability to generate and control electricity, Adam became Shocker. And his brother Ryan gained a multitude of powers which included super speed, sonic wave blasting, and many more sound-related abilites.
Ryan soon called himself Thunder and he joined a team consisting of Adam, their cousin Matt (Black Lightn') and his cousin R.J (Zero), known as The Legendary Warriors. Together they fought an alliance of malicious mutant enemies. When the battle was done, the heroes stood victorious. But the group would be forced to split up. R.J left to New Jersey and Adam was informed that he and Ryan -along with their mother of course- would be moving to North Dakota to get away from the violence and mutants that inhabited the city of Badlands. And that is where the story continues...
"This is gonna' be awesome," Adam said as he stuffed a basket full of all his shirts. "A new place to hangout at, a bigger room, new friends, I can't wait!"
"Shut up Adam," Ryan said zipping up one of his cases. "Everytime we get told to do some work, you start talking and then you always take forever to finish!"
"You shut up," Adam replied. "I done way more than you!"
"Yeah right, I was up when David and Tyson came over."
"Yeah and I heard them sending you to bed because you weren't doing anything!"
"Ryan, Adam!" a call came from their mother in the front room. "Get your shoes on, let's go." Adam and Ryan rushed to put their shoes on. They raced into the front room to leave and as they entered it they noticed Matt standing in the open door. "You guys are going with Matt to go get some boxes from the store," their mother continued.
"You mean Haul-mart?" Adam asked squeezing by her to get out the door.
"Yeah, but how much do they cost?" Ryan asked.
"They're free," Matt interrupted. "You just go and get them from by the door. They sit them by the door so can grab'em when you need them."
"Well just grab twenty but make sure they're not ripped," Teresa replied.
